Now Is The Time To Stop Dreaming

Nature’s peace will flow into you as sunshine flows into trees.
The winds will blow their freshness into you, and the storms their energy,
While cares will drop off like falling leaves.

It would be nice if the poor were to get even half of the money that is spent in studying them.

Knowing something is there, when all others do not see it, is genius.

The beauty of having a low income is that there is not enough money to buy what you don’t really need.

Forget about the people you disagree with or don’t get along with.
You should be spending all your spare time with people whose beliefs are in tune with your own.

The complex physical laws that govern the Universe must have been made by a super-intelligent being.

If you dream of a totally different lifestyle in a totally different place, then now is the time to stop dreaming and start doing.

ConDems Were Sucking Up To Gaddafi

Somehow we’re being sold the idea that the Blair-Brown regime sucked up to Colonel Gaddafi, but our current Government kept their distance.
This is false.
Archives reveal that the ‘Minister for Africa’, Henry Bellingham slurped up to the Colonel (referring to him as ‘Brother Leader’) at an EU-Africa Summit in Tripoli on November 30, 2010.
A few weeks before, another minister, Alastair Burt, told the Libyan British Business Council that Libya had ‘turned a corner’ which ‘has paved the way for us to begin working together again’.

If You Are Going Through Hell….

Some people suffer in silence louder than others.

Why do people who have nothing to say keep saying it?

Those who find pleasure in helping others may be God’s chosen angels.

You become successful by fighting your own laziness and ignorance every step of the way.

You don’t need to be smart or talented to succeed, you just need to keep going.

It may be the sole purpose in life of some people to serve as a warning to others.

If you are going through hell, keep going until you come out the other side.

You Will Never Defeat Us

The attacks on 9/11 destroyed so much that can never be recovered – and yet life goes on.
And that is the ultimate message of 9/11 – for us, and to the men who would fly planes with terrified children into skyscrapers, who carry bombs in rucksacks on to Tube trains, the fanatics who would happily dance on our graves.
You can hate us.
You can bomb us.
You can destroy our proudest buildings, and slaughter our loved ones, and murder our brightest and our best.
But hear this – you will never defeat us.

In America It Just Means Angry

I’m the laziest cow you’ve ever met.
I’ve never set foot in a gym.
My gym lessons are rehearsals, that’s about as far as I go.
(Tulisa Contostavios)

When I’m in the UK I find myself using a lot of Britishisms.
I like saying ‘pissed’ in the British sense, meaning drunk.
In America it just means angry.
(Darren Criss)

It may surprise people, but I’m a pretty good boxer.
I’ve been involved in fitness boxing since I was a kid.
I still love to get in the ring with my personal trainer for a good workout.
I’d far sooner do a boxing session than jog for an hour.
I’d like to think that, if push came to shove, I could take someone out with a swift left hook.

We Are All Here For A Purpose

Those who have sympathy and compassion for all creatures are true humans.

Our Lord has written the promise of resurrection, not in books alone but in every leaf of springtime.

We must believe that we are gifted for something, and having that belief will carry us happily through life.

Our creator would never have made such lovely days and have given us the deep hearts to enjoy them unless we were meant to be immortal.

Kindness brings two people closer together, the giver and the receiver.

Unknowingly, we plough the dust of stars, blown about us by the wind, and drink the universe in a glass of rain.

We are all here for a purpose, all equal, with a place to fill.

I Found A Way To Have Explosive Sex

As I grew older, I came to realise I had been far from alone in feeling bewildered or frustrated during the early years of adulthood.
And you know what? I learned, gradually, to rip that curtain of niceness aside.
I found a way to have explosive sex, and I thank my lucky stars because I really could have gone through life feeling very confused indeed – or just not bothering after a certain point.
Every woman can be unlocked.
I firmly believe that now; that we all have the capacity to be transported into another realm by a sexual experience.
We just need the key.
If we’ve never had a fabulous sexual experience, we have no idea of what’s on the other side.
Because many men don’t understand how to bring a woman alive in terms of sex, and many women aren’t bold enough about what they really do and don’t want.

‘In no area of human experience are human beings more convinced that something better can be had if only they persevere.’

God Made Spaces Between Our Fingers

We are all born with love, and we all learn fear.

Love can lead us into the unknown.

Life is the dance floor, love is the rhythm, and we are the music.

There are more people in the world who want to be loved than there are who are willing to give it.

Love makes all things easier, and faith makes all things possible.

God made spaces between our fingers so that others can fill them.

To love is good, to be loved is better, to love and be loved is everything.

Monkey Meat Is A Major Source Of Deadly Infections

Research has shown that primates, which make up just 0.5 per cent of the animals on the planet, actually seed 20 per cent of all infectious human viruses.
The main cause of the problem appears to originate from West Africa where humans eat the meat of infected chimpanzees.
Such bush meat is a major source of both nourishment and deadly infection.
While human hunters sell chimp carcasses at market, chimpanzees have also been known to grab children from the villages, kill and eat them – which can move human viruses back to the monkey population.
Villagers will butcher chimps in the open.
This provides microbes with the opportunity to jump back and forth between people and monkeys.

A Beer Aimed At Women

I’ve never been drunk, I don’t drink any alcohol.
(Julien MacDonald)

Brewing giant Molson Coors has signed up its first major retailer to sell a beer aimed at women.
The company, based in Burton, Staffordshire, which also brews Britain’s best-selling lager Carling, has signed a deal with Morrisons for at least 393 of its stores to sell the Animee beer that comes in rose, clear and lemon.
In Britain only 17 per cent of women drink beer compared with 25 per cent in the US.

Morrisons has started selling whisky from England’s only distillery.
Chapter 6 is produced by the English Whisky Company, in Roudham, Norfolk – England’s first producer to be registered in more than 100 years.
