More Under-Age Sex And More Abortions

There is no better symbol of the squalid New Britain than the choice of Christmas to make the ‘morning-after-pill’ easier to get.
Now this do-it-yourself abortion for people who are not just feckless but incompetent too is to be given out by post, in advance (surely it should be renamed the ‘night-before’ pill, in that case?).
Under-age girls will easily be able to get it.
Like all such measures, it will be followed by more under-age sex and more abortions.
And nobody will make the connection.

Killing An Unborn Child Is Murder

Life is sacred to God, and he views even an embryo as a distinct, living being. (Psalm 139:16).
God stated that a person would be called to account for injuring an unborn child.
So, in his eyes, killing an unborn child is murder.
(Exodus 20:13, 21:22,23).

Why Does The UK Government Not Want To Reduce The Number Of Abortions?

I believe the upper limit for abortion is too high at 24 weeks and that women presenting for an abortion should be made an offer of independent counselling.
I had previously campaigned to reduce the abortion time limit and now I had tabled an amendment to the Bill that would mean all women seeking an abortion were offered advice independent of the abortion provider.
Health Ministers were instructed to vote against my amendment – unheard of for a conscience vote issue.
A letter was sent to MPs advising them they should vote against me.
The message was clear: Vote for her and no job for you.
Two Conservative MPs who are also doctors were lined up to speak against me in order to undermine the credibility of the amendment.
Stories were placed in The Guardian ridiculing it.
The Liberal Democrats make up just 8.7 per cent of this Parliament yet dictate policy on free schools, health, immigration and now abortion.
I still cannot understand why anyone would object to a woman receiving the offer of pre-abortion counselling.
Just an offer, not compulsory.
No delay to the process.
Why would people object to the fact that such a move may reduce the number of abortions?
Are we proud of having the highest number of abortions in Western Europe?

125,000 Abortions Every Day

According to the World Health Organisation, every year in the world an estimated 40 to 50 million women faced with an unplanned pregnancy decide to have an abortion.
This corresponds to approximately 125,000 abortions every day.
In the USA there are over 3,000 abortions every day.
Nearly half of pregnancies are unintended, and 40% of these are terminated by abortion.
22% of all pregnancies in the USA (excluding miscarriages) end in abortion.
Even those who agree with abortion must find these figures truly disturbing.

We Kill Perfect Babies

A society that baulks fussily at the death penalty for guilty murderers has become adept at excusing the convenient killing of innocents.
Using the advanced techniques of a perverted science, we hunt down imperfect babies in the womb and kill them.
Or we kill perfect babies because their birth might disrupt our comfy lives.
And we tell ourselves that it is all right because our victims aren’t fully human, though in our hearts we know they are.
When the law which permits this massacre was first proposed nearly 50 years ago, we were told that it would be for exceptional and very difficult cases only.
I do not know if those who campaigned for the change really believed that – but their opponents warned that it would lead to abortion on demand.
And that is what happened.

Abortions Are Justified And God Doesn’t Exist

This is a comment received on my posted article “Women Over 40 Are Aborting 22 Babies Every Day”.

Wow. What a totally revolting human being you are.
If you think that opposing abortion is a compassionate option then you have a very sick mind.
There are a thousand reasons why women require abortions and it isn’t because they are sluts, trust me.
Though of course ‘reason’ doesn’t come into your way of thinking does it.
I’m sure something bad will happen to you and it will shake your faith in God and one day you will realise there is no God, God was invented by man to make sense of the world in a time where facts and science were not available to us.
It makes me sad to think of people who delude themselves in the way that you are doing because your views are not just sick and wrong, they are dangerous in that they give ammunition to other sick people.

The total number of abortions in England and Wales last year (2010) was 189,574.
In 2000 it was 175,542.
That is 519 abortions EVERY day.
This number is for resident women and does not include abortions carried out in Scotland or Northern Ireland.
There were an additional 6,535 abortions for non-resident women carried out in England and Wales.
Another 17 abortions EVERY day.
Abortions carried out for ‘medical reasons’ accounted for 43% (about 81,520).
Abortions carried out because there was a ‘risk’ that the child may be born handicapped was 2,290.
This leaves a number of over 105,000 (287 EVERY day) abortions carried out for ‘other’ reasons.
Everyone knows what the ‘other’ reasons are.

Those who believe in God cannot prove he exists.
Those who don’t believe in God cannot prove he doesn’t exist.
The theory that life (and nature) came about from chaos, confusion and chance, is very improbable.
Things as complex as life do not happen by chance.
A book needs an author, a painting needs an artist, a building needs an architect to design it and builders to construct it.
Every item, big or small, from motor cars to skyscrapers, from computers to bridges, are all designed and built by engineers and craftsmen.
The human body is a masterpiece of design. So too with our world, the sun and the moon, all perfectly located for our existence.
Someone far more intelligent and powerful than our little selves planned all this, and put it together.
The great designer, architect, creator, we call God.

We should all have an open mind, not a closed one.

Women Over 40 Are Aborting 22 Babies Every Day

Government data shows the number of abortions for over-40s in the UK rose more than 30% since 2000.
Last year, 8,179 of them terminated pregnancies – including 650 above the age of 45 and 21 older than 50.
Studies show that women over 40 are less likely than teenagers to practise safe sex.
These despicable women are murdering unborn babies and denying human souls a whole life-time for their own selfish sexual-gratification.
They should all be ashamed of themselves.
Even God won’t forgive them for this.

Euthanasia Is A Step Too Far

There is a danger that elderly people will come under pressure to opt for euthanasia.
The pressure may come from relatives who have a financial interest in shuffling the old people out of the way.
It may come from doctors or health services because they do not wish to have the elderly taking up hospital space.
It may come from the characteristic reluctance of the elderly to be a nuisance.
Euthanasia may be regarded as the right and unselfish thing for them to do.
In these circumstances, assisted suicide is not a fully voluntary act.
Death itself has a certain fascination which can be fatally attractive, particularly to depressives and adolescents.
If people who already have a hankering to end their own lives are exposed to pro-suicide propaganda, some of them are likely to commit the final act.
The suicide of a child is one of the most tragic things than can happen to a family.
If suicide is presented as admirable then it will become more frequent.
This could trigger a chain of suicides among teenagers, assisted or unassisted.
The UK already has one of the highest rates of teenage suicides in the world.
We have seen how abortion has become commonplace.
Society would be damaged if assisted suicide became as common as abortions.
Liberalism always has a next step they want society to take.
It will be a step too far.
They allow the murder of unborn babies.
They must not allow the murder of elderly people.

Failed Policies Have Led To Epidemic Drug-Taking And Promiscuity

By treating human beings as if they were laboratory rats, we have tried for decades to coax and corral them into sensible behavior.
This idea is called ‘harm reduction’ and lies behind the stupid, failed policies that have led to epidemic drug-taking and promiscuity.
It assumes people will do bad and stupid things, and that they should be helped to do them as safely as possible.
A keystone of the harm-reduction policy has been the free, easy issue of the ‘morning-after pill’.
Abortion on demand had somehow failed to reduce the number of unwanted pregnancies.
Research has already suggested that, “the increase in pregnancy rates from, for example, greater sexual activity may cancel out reductions in pregnancy rates from greater use of emergency birth control.”
Or, the knowledge that a one-night stand need have no consequences will increase the number of one-night stands.
Schemes to make morning-after pills more readily available have been followed by more diagnoses of sexually transmitted infections.
More pills mean more promiscuity.
‘Harm reduction’ has increased harm.
We are not laboratory rats, or dogs, but human beings with the ability to make moral choices.
And the last people to grasp this will be those who govern this country.
