Rape Is Legal Within A Marriage

Saudi Arabia are allowing their women to vote.
They won’t get it for another four years, then only in local elections, and they won’t be able to drive to the polling station because any woman who gets behind a wheel suffers the lash.
They will still be classified as legal minors, allowed to be sold into marriage before puberty, ordered to cover up every part of their body apart from their eyes and can do nothing if raped by their husband, because it’s legal when it happens within a marriage.
It’s a blatant attempt to kid the world that they have brought democracy to a land still run like a seventh century fiefdom.
Will Britain demand democracy there as we did in Libya?

Young Girls Are Mutilated, In The Name Of Religion

I have felt bone-chilling fear twice in my life.
The first occasion was while filming a television report about little British-born girls from London’s Somali community being sent abroad to have their genitals mutilated.
They call it female circumcision – an inadequate description of the radical and primitive surgery they’re forced to undergo.
Teachers in their schools had wept as they described bright young pupils of five or six coming back at the end of the holidays in agony and in deep shock, no longer able to manage the lavatory without crying out.
The local Imam, when I challenged him about such a barbaric practice, which he justified as a religious and cultural necessity to ensure their purity at marriage, had steely eyes which bored through me.
‘In the not too distant future’, he intoned, ‘all British girls will be circumcised when Islam rules this country’.

Over 2,000 Women Assaulted Every Day

Vulnerable women in the UK are being attacked on an appalling scale.
Attacks on women in the home have soared by more than 2,000 a week since the start of the recession.
Around 120,000 more cases of domestic violence were reported to police last year, up 17% from 674,756 to 793,526 in just two years.
There are now 2,174 assaults reported each day in England and Wales, three every two minutes.
There are also fears cuts in funding for legal aid and women’s refuges will make it harder for victims to escape abusing relationships.

A recent study carried out by Wordsonlife showed that men who abuse their wife or partner, are cowardly worms and evil bullies, and all have an I.Q. lower than a carpet slipper.

Why Would Rapists Plead Guilty?

The Government are proposing reduced prison sentences for offenders who plead guilty.
A rapist will only plead guilty in cases where evidence is overwhelming and a conviction is likely.
Figures show 90% of attacked women who come to rape crisis centres don’t report the attacks to police.
And out of every 100 women who do report rape, only six of them will see their attacker convicted.
In a society where rape is a low-risk activity, why would rapists plead guilty?
Knowing their attacker would be released early would make victims fearful, feel justice has not been done and that their trauma has been trivialized.

Teenage Girls At Risk

Teenage girls in the UK are at the most risk of suffering domestic violence.
About one in seven women aged 16 – 19 has been hit by their partners, one in 12 girls that age has been sexually assaulted and one in 11 stalked, according to research.

Girl Of 14 Raped Then Whipped To Death

A girl of 14 was whipped to death in south-west Bangladesh after being accused of having a relationship with her married cousin.
Mosammet Hena collapsed after being lashed 70 times in public with a bamboo cane.
She died hours later.
Four Islamic clerics have been arrested for ordering the punishment.
It has now been reported the man raped Mosammet then accused her of having an affair with him.
The cousin has been arrested on suspicion of murder.

Battered Wives Have Higher IQ’s Than Their Men

The majority of battered and abused women have significantly higher IQ’s than their partners.
This means that in a verbal argument she will always win.
Frustrated, he lashes out to restore his position as ‘master’.
Men who rape, or abuse, or strike women are generally of low intelligence, have a severe inferiority complex and are, of course, cowards and bullies.

100 Women Are Killed Every Year In The UK By Their Husband Or Partner

A shocking 100 women a year are killed in the UK by violent partners.
The number of those killed by husbands or boyfriends has nearly doubled in the past two years.
And charity Refuge claims the situation will get only worse as ConDem cuts bite.

Human Trafficking Rings Operate with Impunity In Moldova

Sold into prostitution – often by friends or family – then trafficked across the continent, thousands of Eastern European women every year find themselves trapped in lives of unimaginable misery.
Sex trafficking is one of the most profitable illegal businesses in both Eastern and Western Europe.
In Moldova, the poorest country in Europe, where female unemployment may reach 68 per cent and a third of the workforce lives and works abroad, it is estimated that since 1989 between 200,000 and 400,000 women have been sold into prostitution elsewhere – perhaps 10 per cent of the female population.
The country is the main exporter of sex slaves for the continent.
The women and girls never receive money from the client or pimp.
They are not allowed to contact anybody.
They are isolated, threatened, tied up, or even force-fed drugs to control them.
Many speak of being raped, urinated on, badly beaten up.
Ninety per cent of sex-trafficked women contract sexually transmitted diseases, hepatitis or AIDS.
And many suffer psychological trauma – advanced schizophrenia and multiple personality disorder.

There are countless cases of missing women.
A search in Moldovan villages revealed the emptiness of places where the women were formerly a natural presence.
There were families living in hope that one day they would see their mother, daughter, wife, sister again.
And children who didn’t remember how their mother looked.
Human trafficking rings operate with impunity in Moldova, where they are for the most part under government protection and where a number of local government officials are involved with the rings.
No government officials have ever been charged with human trafficking or prostitution offences in Moldova.

A Disturbing Rise In The Number Of Rapes

The number of rapes in the London Borough of Sutton, in Surrey, has risen by 70 per cent in the past 12 months.
The figures, obtained from the Metropolitan Police, show the number of reported incidents in the borough rose from 37 to 63 since August 2009.
In 2008, the figure was 18, which is about half that of 2009 – meaning the number of rapes in Sutton has doubled in each of the past two years.

There has been a rise in reported rape across London, with an average 37 per cent rise – although in Sutton the increase is nearly double that.
Despite this rise, overall crime in Sutton dropped in the past year by about 10 per cent.
