Random Words

That’s all the media and the politicians are ever talking about, the things that separate us.. Things that make us different from one another.. That’s the way the ruling class operates in any society.. They try to divide the rest of the people.. They keep the lower and the middle classes fighting with each other so that they, the rich, can run off with all the fucking money.
( George Carlin, 1937-2008 )

Thank you for being the reason I smile.

Governments want efficient technicians, not human beings, because human beings become dangerous to governments, and to organised religions as well.. That is why governments and religious organisations seek to control education.
( Jiddu Krishnamurti, 1895-1986 )

An ugly personality destroys a beautiful face.

The British and American Intelligence along with the Israeli Mossad worked to create the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS).. A terrorist organisation that is able to attract all extremists of the world to one place, using a strategy called “The Hornet’s Nest”.. It is created to protect the Zionist Entity of Israel by creating it with religious and Islamic slogans.. The only solution to protect the Jewish State is to create ISIS near its borders.

Don’t waste words on people who deserve only your silence.

Controlled poverty is what the Tory wants, not the abolition of poverty.
( Nye Bevan, 1897-1960 )

My grandmother was ill in bed when the Nazis came to her home town.
A German soldier shot her dead in her bed.
My grandmother did not die to provide cover for Israeli soldiers murdering Palestinian grandmothers in Gaza.. The present Israeli government ruthlessly and cynically exploits the continuing guilt from gentiles over the slaughter of Jews in the Holocaust as justification for their murder of Palestinians.
( Sir Gerald Kaufman, 1930-2017 )

Sometimes the most powerful thing you can say is nothing at all.

Consider how the so-called owners of the land got hold of it.
They simply seized it by force, afterwards hiring lawyers to provide them with title-deeds.
In the case of the enclosure of the common lands, which was going on from about 1600 to 1850, the land-grabbers did not even have the excuse of being foreign conquerors.. They were quite frankly taking the heritage of their own countrymen, upon no sort of pretext except that they had the power to do so.. It is desirable that people should own their own dwelling houses, and it is probably desirable that a farmer should own as much land as he can actually farm.. But the ground-landlord in a town area has no function and no excuse for existence.. He is merely a person who has found out a way of milking the public while giving nothing in return.. He causes rents to be higher, he makes town planning more difficult, and he excludes children from green spaces.. That is literally all that he does, except to draw his income.
( George Orwell, 1903-1950 )

Whenever we take a risk in our life, no matter how it ends up, we are always glad we took it.. Well, glad about most of them.

In obedience there is always fear, and fear darkens the mind.
( Jiddu Krishnamurti, 1895-1986 )

If you care about ‘farm’ animals, or wildlife, or your health, or the planet, or the lakes and rivers and oceans, or the rainforests, are just a few of the minor reasons for being a vegan or vegetarian.

We did not vaccinate away cholera.. We didn’t vaccinate away tuberculosis.
There were sanitariums in the 20s and 30s, even the 40s, for tuberculosis.
We didn’t vaccinate that away so there’s a lot of things that people think of that we vaccinated away but we never did in this country.. It was all actually changes and improvements in public health and in sanitation, water and nutrition.
( Dr Toni Bark )

The war is not meant to be won.. It is meant to be continuous.
( George Orwell, 1903-1950 )

Hiding behind culture, tradition, or religious rituals to justify the torture and the murder of innocent animals are heinous acts by cowards, worthless lumps of human nothingness.

I would like to see every single soldier on every single side, just take off your helmet, unbuckle your kit, lay down your rifle, and set down at the side of some shady lane, and say, nope, I aint a gonna kill nobody.. Plenty of rich folks want to fight.. Give them the guns.
( Woody Guthrie, 1912-1967 )

There’s a very good chance that I’ve called some very nice people some very bad names when I’ve been stuck in traffic.

This generation has lost the true meaning of romance.
There are so many songs that disrespect women.
You can’t treat the women you love as a piece of meat.
You should treat your love like a princess.
Give her love songs, something with real meaning.
Maybe I’m old fashioned, but to respect the woman you love should be a priority.
( Tom Hiddleston )

The thing about life is every time you learn a new lesson, there’s just another one right around the corner.. You never know everything.. I know nothing compared to what I am going to know someday.. And I think the last time I thought I knew everything, I was fifteen.
( Taylor Swift )

In politics, nothing happens by accident.
If it happens, you can bet it was planned that way.
( Franklin D. Roosevelt )

When wealth is passed off as merit, bad luck is seen as bad character.
This is how ideologues justify punishing the sick and the poor.
But poverty is neither a crime nor a character flaw.
Stigmatise those who let people die, not those who struggle to live.

England’s Rose

England’s Rose ..
The day we lost our Nation’s Rose
Tears we cried like rivers flowed
The Earth stood still
As we laid her to rest
A day you and I will never forget.

Never be deceived that the rich will allow you to vote away their wealth.
( Lucy Parsons, 1853-1942 )

Common sense is not a gift..
It’s a punishment because you have to deal with all those who don’t have it.

I am in competition with no one.
I have no desire to play the game of being better than anyone.
I’m simply trying to be better than the person I was yesterday.

It is difficult to get a man to understand something when his job depends on not understanding it.

We won’t find a cure for life-threatening diseases until we find a cure for greed and selfishness.

The primary cause of unhappiness is never the situation but your thoughts about it.

Governments don’t want an intelligent population, because people who can think critically can’t be ruled.. They want a public who are just smart enough to pay taxes and dumb enough to keep voting for them.

True humility is not thinking less of yourself.. It is thinking of yourself less.
( Rick Warren )

You are not a racist for simply discussing your concern about the barbaric ideology of Islam, and how Muslim immigration can destroy your country’s quality of life, like it has in some European countries.

( Anne Robinson )

Worry pretends to be necessary but serves no useful purpose.
( Eckhart Tolle )

Heavy physical work, the care of home and children, petty quarrels with neighbours, films, football, beer, and above all, gambling filled up the horizon of their minds.. To keep them in control was not difficult.. All that was required of them was a primitive patriotism which could be appealed to whenever it was necessary to make them accept longer working hours or shorter rations.. And when they become discontented, as they sometimes did, their discontentment led nowhere, because being without general ideas, they could only focus it on petty specific grievances.

Until it ends, there is no end.

In keeping silent about evil, in burying it so deep within us that no sign of it appears on the surface, we are implanting it, and it will rise up a thousand fold in the future.. When we neither punish nor reproach evildoers, we are not simply protecting their trivial old age, we are thereby ripping the foundations of justice from beneath new generations.
( Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn, 1918-2008 )

Fire Officers Warn That Cuts Pose A Risk ..
Chief fire officers have warned that further budget cuts pose a risk to community safety as official figures revealed the biggest increase in fire deaths for a decade.
The latest figures from the Department for Communities and Local Government show that 294 people died in fires in England during 2015, an increase of 21% compared with the 242 deaths recorded in 2014 and the largest increase since figures were published in 2001-02.. The chief fire officers from the six largest English cities outside London said the rise was worrying as the fire service faces budget cuts of up to 50% by 2020, from the 2010 benchmark.

A Horror Caused Entirely By Us ..
It is almost physically painful to listen to our political leaders as they jut their chins, do their Churchill imitations, and march towards yet another disaster.
I ask all these people to see if they can arrange a weekend break in Libya, the country they ‘liberated’ a couple of years ago.. The Tripoli airport, alas, long ago closed and seems to have been burned down.. But perhaps they can hitch a ride on one of the pirate boats that criss-cross the Mediterranean, bringing uncontrollable legions of migrants to Italy, bound for Calais.. That filthy business, too, is the fault of our Prime Minister and those who supported his Libya adventure.. The disturbing scenes at Calais, as migrants battle to board British-bound ships, are David Cameron’s direct responsibility, and the responsibility of all those who uncritically backed his adventure.
Nobody goes to Libya, now a cauldron of blood and screams where no sane person will venture, a horror caused entirely by us.
( Peter Hitchens, 07.09.2014 )

Laid-Back Italians More Productive Than UK ..
For all George Osborne’s bluster, Britain remains a low-wage, low-output economy.. British workers put in the longest hours in Europe yet produce less than any other major industrialised nation.. The French could take every Friday off and still produce more each week than we do.. And even the laid-back Italians are nine per cent more productive than us.. Of the original fifteen EU states, only Europe’s basket cases Greece and Portugal have lower hourly wages.. Instead of investing in plant and technology essential for long-term growth, business is investing in labour because it is so cheap.
( Nigel Nelson, 13.12.2015 )

If you’ve come into our country and you commit a crime, you should be deported, end of story.

It doesn’t have to be unfair.. Things can, and will change.
( Jeremy Corbyn )

George Orwell ..
George Orwell was a patriotic, liberty-loving socialist who learned to loathe most of his Leftist comrades.. His writing, unlike theirs, was as clear as a newly cleaned windowpane.. That is because he, unlike them, refused to lie for the cause, and admitted its faults.. They loathed him for it when he was alive, and they always will loathe him for it.
( Peter Hitchens, 07.09.2014 )

British voters and European leaders should have one thing in common.. Not trusting David Cameron.. As slippery as a mud wrestler covered in grease.
The only thing open about Mr Cameron is his gaping mouth when he’s telling porkies.
( Daily Mirror, 18.12.2015 )

ISIL hasn’t come from nowhere.
ISIL isn’t funded by nobody.
ISIL doesn’t sell its oil to nobody.
ISIL doesn’t receive its arms from nowhere.
You’ve got to ask some questions about the arms sales we’ve made to many countries around the Gulf.. And we’ve got to ask some questions of the bankers and the banking system that allows that oil money to go in and out.
( Jeremy Corbyn )

Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders.
That is easy.. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger.. It works the same way in any country.
( Hermann Wilhelm Göring, German politician, military leader, and leading member of the Nazi Party )

I was born with my heart on my sleeve
A fire in my soul
And a mouth I can’t control.

It’s easier to fool people than to convince them that they have been fooled.
( Mark Twain )

Theresa May has the warmth, wit and oratorical ability of a fridge-freezer.
( Rod Little )

Judged by its own stated goals, government austerity policy isn’t working.. Of course, the reality is that austerity policies are actually designed to dismantle the welfare state, bring down wages and fully marketise the economy, destroying all social and economic gains of ordinary people since the second world war.. So from the government point of view the policies are working.
( Ken Loach )

I told the then Prime minister that the fall of Baghdad would not be the beginning of the beginning and that the fanaticism and extremism that you will unleash will travel and cascade everywhere including onto our own streets.

Do Scientists Believe In God ?

The existence of design in Nature is a fact which must be taken seriously because in every main branch of science.. Physics, geophysics, astronomy, chemistry and biology, we are faced with the same surprising fact.. Nearly everywhere Nature shows signs of something we can only think of in terms of ingenuity and deliberate design.
( Robert E.D. Clark, PH.D. Organic Chemistry, Cambridge University )

A common sense interpretation of the facts suggests a Super Intellect has monkeyed with physics, as well as with the chemistry and the biology.. There are no blind forces worth speaking about in Nature.. The numbers one calculates from the facts seem to me so overwhelming as to put this conclusion almost beyond question.
( Dr. Fred Hoyle, British Astrophysicist and founder of Theory of Stellar Nucleosynthesis )

It may seem bizarre, but in my opinion, a deep study into the sciences offers a surer path to God than any religion.
( Paul Davies, Physicist winner of the 2001 Kelvin Medal issued by the Institute of Physics and winner of the 2002 Faraday Prize issued by the Royal Society )

To suppose that the human eye with all its inimitable contrivances for adjusting the focus to different distances, for admitting different amounts of light, and for the correction of spherical and chromatic aberration, could have been formed by natural selection seems, I freely confess, absurd in the highest sense.
( Charles Darwin )

A bit of science distances one from God, but much science nears one to Him.. The more I study Nature, the more I stand amazed at the work of the Creator.
( Louis Pasteur )

We are, by astronomical standards, a pampered, cosseted, cherished group of creatures.. If the universe had not been made with the most exacting precision we could never have come into existence.. It is my view that these circumstances indicate the universe was created for man to live in.
( John O’Keefe, Astronomer, NASA )

It seems to me that when confronted with the marvels of life and the incredibly fine-tuned universe, one must ask why and not just how.. The only possible answers are religious.. I find a need for God in the universe, and in my own life.
(Arthur L. Schawlow, Professor of Physics, Stanford University and Nobel prize winner in physics)

Precious little in the way of biochemical evolution could have happened on the Earth.. If one counts the number of trial assemblies of amino acids alone that are needed to give rise to the enzymes, the probability of their discovery by selection or via random shufflings turns out to be less than ‘one in ten to the 40,000th.’
( Dr. Chandra Wickramasinghe, Professor, Applied Mathematics and Astronomy, University College Cardiff )

Both religion and science require a belief in God.. For believers, God is in the beginning, and for physicists he is at the end of all considerations.
( Max Planck, Nobel prize winner in physics )

Astronomy leads us to a unique event.. A universe which was created out of nothing and delicately balanced to provide exactly the conditions required to support life.. In the absence of an absurdly-improbable accident.. The observations of modern science seem to suggest an underlying, one might say, supernatural plan.
( Arno Penzias, Physicist and Nobel prize winner )

Within DNA we’ve discovered dual coding, along with protein code-reading frames and other cellular design features for concentrating the vast genomic information.. Such innovations are virtually impossible to be by chance or selective processes.
( W.Y. Chung, Comparative Genomics and Bioinformatics, Penn State University )

Evolution is a fairy tale for grown-ups.
The theory has helped nothing in the progress of science.. It is useless.. The shocking lack of transitional fossils offer no explanation for the exquisitely complex animals, all unique in their kinds.
( Dr. Louis Bounoure, French National Centre for Scientific Research )

The more you look scientifically and mathematically at the universe, the more you understand God is its glorious infinitely wise creator.
( Johannes Kepler, Founder of the Planetary Laws of Motion )

One cannot look at this universe with all living productions and man, without believing that all has been intelligently designed.
( Charles Darwin )

The first gulp from the glass of natural sciences will turn you into an Atheist.
But at the bottom of the glass God is waiting for you.
( Werner Heisenberg, Nobel prize winner in physics, Founder of Quantum Mechanics )

Unfortunately, the origin of the cell remains a question that is actually the murkiest aspect of the whole theory of evolution.
( Alexander Ivanovich Oparin, Biochemist, notable for his book The Origin of Life )

Without the incredible design and tuning seen in Earth’s radiation protection mechanism, our magnetic field structure, life itself would be an impossibility.
( Sir Robert Boyd, Royal Astronomical Society )

A Creator must exist.. The big bang ripples and subsequent scientific findings clearly point to an ex-nihilo creation consistent with the first few verses of the Book of Genesis.
( Henry F. Schaefer 111, Quantum Chemist, Five-time nominee for the Nobel Prize )

God used beautiful mathematics in creating the world.
( Paul Dirac, Nobel Prize Winner in Physics )

I believe that the more thoroughly science is studied, the further does it take us from anything comparable to Atheism.
( Lord William Thomson, 1st Baron Kelvin, Mathematical physicist and engineer )

God is the author of the universe and the free establisher of the laws of motion.
( Robert William Boyle, Chemist and physicist, Founder of modern chemistry )

Astronomers now find they have painted themselves into a corner because they have proven, by their own methods, that the world began abruptly in an act of creation to which you can trace the seeds of every star, every planet, every living thing in this cosmos and on the Earth.. And they have found that all this happened as a product of forces they cannot hope to discover.
( Robert Jastrow, NASA Physicist )

Natural selection through mutation cannot begin to explain the incredible functions of the eye.. Mutations are either neutral or harmful, rarely are they helpful, just as a random change made by poking a screwdriver into the guts of your computer will rarely improve its performance.
( Paul Ehrlich, Evolutionist, Stanford University )

There is no conflict between science and religion.
Our knowledge of God is made larger with every discovery we make about the world.
( Joseph H. Taylor, Nobel Prize in Physics for discovery of the first binary pulsar )

The fanatical Atheists are like slaves who are still feeling the weight of their chains they have thrown off after a hard struggle.. They are creatures who in their grudge against God and religion can’t hear the music of the spheres.
( Albert Einstein )

Genetic studies continue to prove entropy of the human genome is constant and degenerative, making evolution and improvement by selection both scientifically and logically false.
( Dr. John Sanford, Cornell University Professor )

I have found there is a wonderful harmony in the complementary truths of science and faith.. The God of the Bible is also the God of the human genome.. God can be found in the Cathedral or in the laboratory.
( Francis Sellers Collins, Physician-geneticist )

If I had no other data than the early chapters of Genesis, some of the Psalms, and other passages of scripture, I would have arrived at essentially the same picture of the origin of the universe, as is indicated by scientific data.
( Arno Penzias, Physicist and Nobel prize winner )

No one can read the Gospels without feeling the actual presence of Jesus.. His personality pulsates in every word.. No myth is filled with such life.
( Albert Einstein )

The fact is there are proportionally as many Atheistic truck drivers as Atheistic scientists.. And among Nobel laureates, the number who recognise the hand of God in the universe is remarkably high.
( Richard Bube, Stanford University Professor )

How did the molecules of life form and acquire their amazing abilities without an intelligent designer ?.. Evolutionary research fails to provide adequate explanations or satisfying answers to questions about the origin of life.
In effect, those who deny the purposeful intervention of a Creator attribute god-like powers to mindless molecules and natural forces.
( Rose Winfold )

The most beautiful system of the sun, planets and comets could only proceed from the counsel and dominion of an intelligent and powerful Being.
( Isaac Newton )

Scientists hold to chemical ‘chance’ evolution theories, but still somehow involve God.. I think it is because for them to admit that God directly created the first cell, they might as well admit that God created everything directly.. The presence of building materials is one thing, the requirement of the plan to put these building materials in the proper places and get them working together is another thing.. That’s why a cell is so beautiful, so intricate.. Even to get one single functional protein molecule to form by chance is a mathematical absurdity.
( Dr Aw Swee-Eng, M.B., B.S., Ph.D.(Lond.), FRC Path., MI Biol. (Lond.))

The day science begins to study non-physical phenomena, it will make more progress in one decade than in all the previous centuries of its existence.
‪( Nikola Tesla, Serbian-American inventor, electrical engineer, mechanical engineer, physicist, and futurist )

I am not an atheist.. The problem involved is too vast for our limited minds.. We are in the position of a little child entering a huge library filled with books in many languages.. The child knows someone must have written those books.. It does not know how.. It does not understand the languages in which they are written.. The child dimly suspects a mysterious order in the arrangement of the books but doesn’t know what it is.. That, it seems to me, is the attitude of even the most intelligent human being toward God.. We see the universe marvelously arranged and obeying certain laws but only dimly understand these laws.
( Albert Einstein )

I think only an idiot can be an atheist.
We must admit that there exists an incomprehensible power or force with limitless foresight and knowledge that started the whole universe going in the first place.
( Christian B. Anfinsen, 1916-1995, an American biochemist who shared the 1972 Nobel Prize in Chemistry )
