Good People Expose The Lies

Between August 2014 and February 2018, the Tornado, Typhoon and Reaper aircraft of the Royal Air Force spent a total of 42,000 hours in the air over Iraq and Syria. That alone cost the UK taxpayers around £1.5 billion.

Tory MPs, largely, do not care about these poor people, they don’t care about the NHS.
( Dominic Cummings, chief advisor to UK PM Boris Johnson )

We are living in a period of time in which the biggest threat to humanity, to all creatures, and to the Earth itself, is ourselves. And yet our greedy leaders and greedy governments allow greedy men and greedy corporations to continue with their wake of destruction.

The socialism I believe in is everyone working for each other, everyone having a share of the rewards. It’s the way I see football, the way I see life.
( Bill Shankly )

The UK Government spent £10,842,063 on their ‘Prepare For EU Exit’ adverts between November 2018 and July 2019. Every single penny spent on this advertising campaign to prepare for the self-inflicted damage that is Brexit would have been better spent on policing, schools and the NHS. Brexit is already costing us dearly and we haven’t even left yet.
( Wes Streeting, 19.08.2019 )

Boris Johnson asserts, ever more boldly, that we will leave the EU with or without a deal. But as his sister has reminded us, he is backed by speculators who have bet billions on a hard Brexit – and there is only one outcome that works for them.
A crash-out no-deal Brexit that sends the currency tumbling and inflation soaring.
( Former UK Conservative Chancellor Philip Hammond )

Dominic Cummings, who claims to be a hard Brexiteer and is chief advisor to UK PM Boris Johnson, received over £200,000 in EU subsidies for a farm he co-owns.

There’s a lot we need to do in this party of ours. Our base is too narrow and so, occasionally, are our sympathies. You know what some people call us – the nasty party.
( Theresa May, October 2002 )

The hard-right in the Conservative Party are just a multi-millionaire elite who have managed to convince the gullible masses that they, and their billionaire friends, really care about the common people.

The Far-Right Billionaires And Their Puppets In Government ..
The dominant five newspapers in the UK, all far-right and owned by billionaires,
are the Sun, the Daily Mail, the Sun on Sunday, the Mail on Sunday, and the Sunday Times. Each of these publications has been brainwashing its readers with fake news about the EU for years, while building up pro-Brexit politicians and stoking divisions. Terms such as “betrayal”, “surrender”, “plots by traitors” and “enemies of the people” are on the front pages routinely. We then had Conservative Ministers spewing mindless remarks.. Michael Howard talked up war with Spain over Gibraltar. Jeremy Hunt likened the EU to the Soviet Union. Boris Johnson compared the EU to the Nazis. Priti Patel suggested threatening the people of Ireland with starvation. Jacob Rees-Mogg threatened to sabotage the EU from within if Brexit was postponed. Comments like these from both the far-right billionaires, and their puppets in government, have whipped up frenzy and incite violence in the not-so-smart members of the public.

We live in a time when our politicians, and the media that supports them, lie to the people, and those who dare to tell the truth are ignored or ridiculed.
( Rose Winfold )

The sort of language I’m afraid we’ve seen more and more of coming out from No 10 does incite violence. It’s the sort of language people think legitimises a more aggressive approach and sometimes violence.

American sanctions don’t affect the ruling elite in Iran. It’s the people who suffer.
All this trouble started when Donald Trump reneged on the nuclear deal.
He did nothing when Saudi Arabia bombed a school bus in Yemen killing 40 children, or when they murdered an American-based journalist.

The UK has been maintaining Saudi warplanes, storing their bombs, issuing their bombs, providing their missiles, training the pilots, providing the warplanes, present in the operations rooms. The UK is not just backing the Yemen war; it’s part of it and its complicity is direct.

Fascism should more appropriately be called Corporatism because it is a merger of state and corporate power.

UK Labour MP Karl Turner confronted Dominic Cummings, the advisor to PM Boris Johnson, saying he had death threats overnight. To this, Cummings casually replies: “Get Brexit done.”

I have had a death threat this week that literally quoted the prime minister and used the prime minister’s name and words in a death threat that was delivered to my staff.
( UK Labour MP Jess Phillips, 26.09.2019 )

Remember, when governments measure the ‘economy’ it’s by how well the rich people are doing, and not by how well the poor and the ordinary folk are doing.

Shame on the misguided, the blinded, the distracted and the divided. Shame. You have allowed deceptive men to corrupt and desensitise your hearts and minds to unethically fuel their greed.

Since the American-orchestrated 2014 overthrow of its democratically elected government, Ukraine has been a complete political and economic disaster. Ravaged by civil war, this American vassal statelet faces a very dark and troubled future.
Ukraine has discovered that there is absolutely no honour in being a satellite outpost of Washington. While it has willingly cut itself off from Russia, it has no EU membership and is being used by the US as an East-West zone of geopolitical instability.

Saudi Arabia’s government announced the mass execution of 37 men on April 23, 2019. At least 33 of the 37 were from the country’s minority Shia community.
The mass execution was the largest since January 2016, when Saudi Arabia executed 47 men.

The blinkered masses don’t get it, but the Government’s aim is getting them to hate the people who are being oppressed, and love the Government, who are the oppressors.

We live in a time when our leaders and those with power no longer commit crimes. They are either ‘indiscretions’, ‘an error of judgement’, ‘an honest mistake’, or a ‘misunderstanding’.

When the UK Prime Minister was in America he told Donald Trump that his number one priority was Brexit. Not the 87 old people dying EVERY DAY because of cuts to social care, or the continuing rise in homelessness, or the children living in poverty.

Complicit in misery, suffering and death. When our leaders and our governments fail to condemn and ignore the sickening and brutal atrocities and crimes committed by the nations who they profit from, what does that say about them?

Yesterday in the UK House of Commons. PM Boris Johnson said, “The best way of honouring murdered Labour MP Jo Cox would be to get Brexit done.”
A crass, ignorant comment about someone who, though is dead, still has far more dignity than Johnson.

An Unfair Policy That Only Benefits Employers ..
Employers in the UK are abusing current flexible working arrangements to make life impossible for hard-working people. Over 1.7 million people across the country are very anxious about their hours changing unexpectedly and without enough warning. Shifts are often cancelled at the last-minute leaving families short of cash for things like food or bills. And with hours changing week to week it can be impossible to budget and plan ahead. This unfair policy is supported by the Conservative Government. And when the government say the number of people in employment is at record levels, they include those in part-time jobs and those on zero-hour contracts who need only work one hour in two weeks to be classed as employed.
A deliberate and scandalous ploy to fool the people.

Yesterday in the UK House of Commons. The wealthy and the privileged Tory MPs were cheering, clapping, and braying like donkeys after PM Boris Johnson described the increase in death threats towards women as ‘humbug’.

Remember The Chemical Attack On Douma ?..
In retaliation, the UK fired 8 missiles into Syria
costing £790,000 EACH. Plus four Tornado GR4s at £35,000 per flying hour. The U.S. fired over one hundred missiles. This attack took place in the early hours of the morning on the same day the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) were due to start their investigation.
The OPCW investigation found no evidence of chemical weapons nor any evidence of people exposed to, or killed by, chemical weapons.

If one hundred people drowned on a British cross-channel ferry, it would be a national disaster. If one hundred refugees drowned in the English Channel, it would be a political question.

Was It Really Iran Who Attacked Saudi Arabian Oil Fields ?..
Saudi Arabia has spent $billions purchasing U.S. missile defence systems and supposedly cutting-edge radar technology. If the Yemeni rebels can fly drones into Saudi territory and knock out oil production sites, then that would be a huge embarrassment for the U.S.
The U.S. needed to scapegoat Iran for the military attack on Saudi Arabia oil fields because to acknowledge that the Houthi rebels in Yemen mounted such an audacious assault would be an admission of the inadequate air defence systems sold to Saudi Arabia.

Abolishing private schools isn’t an education policy by itself. But watch how quickly funding gets allocated and standards improve across the board when the wealthy have to send their kids to be educated alongside ours.

Possibly The Largest Dealer Of Death In The World ..
Apparently each time an Old Etonian becomes the Prime Minister of Britain every boy at the school gets a day off, as does every coke dealer in Central London. Honestly, given the number of psychopaths they turn out, the place should be placed in special measures. Old Etonian Boris Johnson’s government is moving rapidly ahead with all kinds of evil plans. Now one of the many amazing things about Jeremy Corbyn when he comes to power is that he will be the first leader of a major industrial nation in modern history who is personally anti-war and who is not in the pocket of the massively powerful arms industry. To my mind this is one of the major reasons for the ferocious negative response to the prospect of a Socialist Labour Government, all the lies, misinformation and false accusations. But think what that could mean for our nation? At the moment, thanks to BAE Systems and its subcontractors, Britain is possibly the largest dealer of death in the entire world. But under Jeremy Corbyn, we could make all manner of beautiful things that aid humanity rather than killing it, and how much better we could feel about our nation because of that? I am so passionate about this prospect that if you don’t like the idea I’ll fight you.
( Alexei Sayle, 20.09.2019 )

UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s proposed tax cuts would cost the government up to £20 billion and mostly benefit the richest households in Britain, according to new independent research. But Johnson knows this will attract the wealthy donors for his General Election campaign.

We Must Follow The Truth

Every person passing through this life will unknowingly leave something and take something away. Most of this ‘something’ cannot be seen or heard or numbered or scientifically detected or counted. The Explosion Of The Prison Population In The USA ..
Most people imagine that the explosion in the U.S. prison population during the past 25 years reflects changes in crime rates. Few would guess that our prison population leaped from approximately 350,000 to 2.3million in such a short period of time due to changes in laws and policies, not changes in crime rates. Yet it has been changes in our laws, particularly the dramatic increases in the length of our prison sentences, that have been responsible for the growth of our prison system, not increases in crime. One study suggests that the entire increase in the prison population from 1980 to 2001 can be explained by sentencing policy changes.

The Relentless Smear Campaign Against Jeremy Corbyn ..
The Conservative Party, the Tory-supporting media, and Jewish activist groups, who some claim many have infiltrated the Labour Party by becoming members, seem to devote much of their time and energy attempting  to discredit and blacken the reputation of Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn. The relentless rhetoric, unfounded allegations, propaganda and fear-mongering have persuaded many, both neutrals and Labour supporters, and some who should know better, to join the attack on Mr Corbyn. The reasons for the prolonged smear-campaign, which started almost the moment Mr Corbyn was elected as Labour Party leader, are fairly obvious to smart and intelligent people. The initial, ridiculous unfounded attacks were for being a threat to national security and befriending just about every terrorist organisation. When this didn’t work, the meaning of anti-semitism was changed overnight. Because Mr Corbyn is sympathetic to Palestine and criticises Israel, this has been the relentless rhetoric ever since. The reasons, of course, is that the elite and the wealthy are worried (shit-scared, in fact) that if Mr Corbyn did take office as Prime Minister he would, without doubt, look closely at tax-havens, offshore bank accounts, tax-evasion, money-laundering, corruption, and the dodgy goings-on in the banking and financial sectors.
They simply want to stop Mr Corbyn becoming the UK Prime Minister, no matter what they have to do or say, or how dirty or low down in the gutter they have to go.

Some years back Richard Nixon warned the American people that Russia was bad because she had not kept any treaty or agreement signed with her. You can trust the Communists, the saying went, to be Communists. Indian people laugh themselves sick when they hear these statements. America has yet to keep one Indian treaty or agreement despite the fact that the United States government signed over four hundred such treaties and agreements with Indian tribes. It would take Russia another century to make and break as many treaties as the United States has already violated.

Boris Bikes Or Ken’s Cycles ? ..
He was a terrible Foreign Secretary in a rehearsal for No 10, laughing about dead bodies in Libya and cack-handedly extending a British-Iranian mother’s jail sentence in Iran. Equally his eight-year reign at London Mayor was a complete failure compared with Labour predecessor Ken Livingstone’s innovative terms, the Tory scamster squandering £40m on vanity buses and a £43m luvvie unbuilt garden bridge. Boris Airport was a pricey fiction and even the “Boris Bikes” network was inherited from Livingstone, “Ken’s Cycles” a more accurate eponymous tribute.

A Country Made Poorer

Life Has Been Made Hell For Those Who Least Deserve It ..
Who could have failed to be angry looking at the photo of the skeletal 64-year-old Stephen Smith who, despite having multiple debilitating illnesses, weighing six stone, and barely able to walk, was denied benefits by this Government and deemed fit for work.. It was only when he went for free advice at the CASA community centre in Liverpool, where volunteer advisers appealed and won his case, that he received the benefits that kept him alive.. There was a typically rabid response from the right in this country to Tusk’s remarks about those who sold Brexit without a trace of a plan deserving a place in hell. But many of us agree with him.. Because they are the dangerous ideologues behind the three years of political paralysis that has made life hell for those who least deserve it.

Jeremy Corbyn Is A Scapegoat Par Excellence ..
Jeremy Corbyn has not been cast away to die, thank heavens – so we should keep a sense of perspective. But in modern terms, no question, he’s a scapegoat par excellence. And in British politics, unlike Thatcher or Blair, he hasn’t done anything to deserve it.. He’s scapegoated for Brexit. He’s scapegoated for MPs opposed to him from the outset of his leadership having left (when was John Major blamed for the rebel Tories under his government? It’s they who were deservedly blamed most of the time).
He’s scapegoated for not being able to wave a magic wand and change the Parliamentary arithmetic out of nothing. He’s scapegoated for not having a ‘credible plan’ for Brexit, despite Donald Tusk having said it’s a plan the EU could work with.. He’s scapegoated for there being no 2nd referendum, despite himself proposing a Parliamentary amendment in such regard which was voted down.
He’s scapegoated for the obviously appalling crime of the poorest in society actually being given a voice at last.

He’s scapegoated for not winning the 2017 election – despite having spent the previous 21 months constantly undermined by his Parliamentary Party, who were completely wrong in just about all of their analysis. Above all, their belief that Labour was now too left wing.. Scapegoated for not winning an election which Labour started 20 points behind. A snap election called by Theresa May for the express purposes of destroying Labour for at least a generation and ‘crushing the saboteurs’. The result? A hung Parliament.. He’s scapegoated for not making greater inroads in Scotland – despite the damage having all been done by New Labour’s arrogance and complacency. Labour’s image is dirt to many Scots. It’ll take a generation to undo that.. He’s scapegoated for opening up party democracy. Scapegoated by political illiterates who don’t understand our archaic electoral system, and think he can afford to abandon working class Leave voters who voted Leave because they’d been betrayed for decades.. He’s scapegoated for being a ‘Marxist’, ‘Leninist’,
‘Trotskyist’ or ‘Stalinist’ (what, all of them?!) – by people in such a bubble that they can’t see the world changing all around them and do not care about skyrocketing poverty, homelessness, inequality, rent or house prices.
He’s scapegoated for not being an autocrat then scapegoated for being one (even though he’s the exact opposite of one). He’s scapegoated as some terrible ‘economic danger’ having stood on a moderate, centre-left platform in 2017.
A platform of European-style social democracy.
He’s scapegoated as a ‘liar’ on Brexit despite that manifesto supporting Brexit. Scapegoated for the obviously disgraceful crime of respecting democracy.

He’s scapegoated for ‘not being able to get his message across’ when virtually the entire media is implacably opposed to him; and even the public broadcaster is openly, wilfully, deliberately biased in its treatment of him and his party.

A Country Made Poorer And Less Civilised ..
Twisted words, half-truths and outright lies are the weapons that have kept this country locked in a state of arrested development for the past three years as all political energy has been spent on failing to deliver an imaginary freedom from invented tyrants.. Meanwhile, the issues that affect the lives of the vast majority living in the real world are ignored, leaving the weakest to go to the wall. Hence the mass use of foodbanks becoming an acceptable part of life in the world’s sixth biggest economy.. I was one of 16 reporters who spoke to some of the thousands of people forced to live on our freezing streets every night.. The reasons behind their soaring numbers are complex but the scourge is beatable. And surely every rich and civilised country wants it beaten?.. But what happens when your country is made poorer and less civilised due to devoting its resources to solving one political party’s insoluble dilemma ?.. In the past three months alone, the Cabinet Office has handed £14.6 million to outside consultancy firms helping them with Brexit. How many people could that have taken off our streets ?
( Brian Reade, 08.02.2019 )

According to research there could be over 13,000 veterans living on the streets of Britain, ranging through different ranks and varied ages.

It’s Not Corbyn Who Has The Problem ..
He’s scapegoated for antisemitism despite his party taking more steps to combat it than any other party in British history.. His policies aren’t scrutinised; they’re caricatured, by a media whose only interest is ridiculing and excoriating him and all his supporters, which could not care less about the causes of his rise: the sheer perniciousness of neoliberalism. The failure of our entire system.
Even his personality and appearance are scapegoated. His raincoat. His mild manner. His refusal to speak in soundbites at Prime Minister’s Questions. “We just can’t have someone like him as PM! He’s a danger, a danger I tell you!”.
And all this, at a time the public is sick to the back teeth of oily, slick-haired salesmen who speak with forked tongue then sell them all down the river the moment they get into power. ‘Power’, please note, not ‘office’. Our leaders are supposed to be our democratic servants. Corbyn is. Corbyn understands that perfectly. That’s why his expense claims were so low. Meanwhile, the Tories publicly bribe a party of bigots to stay in power; and were even trying to bribe Labour MPs the other week too.. Jeremy Corbyn cannot be both ‘useless’ and magically able to solve all our ills – or else – at the same time. The truth is: he’s inflicted more defeats on the government than the opposition to Major, Blair, Brown and Cameron combined. ‘Useless’, obviously.. The truth is: he oversaw the largest rise in Labour’s share of the vote since 1945 – despite standing on a platform which the media and his own Parliamentary Party insisted would destroy Labour forever.. The truth is: he saved Labour from a quite hideous post-2015 fate: bankrupt, bereft, without a clue, hemmed in from all sides. The truth is: he, personally, has given so much hope to so many millions ignored, shut out and walked all over for decades on end.. And here’s the thing about much of the left. Many of us have known the kind of adversity which our political opponents never have. That adversity, that – in many of our cases –
trauma – is why we reach out and empathise with those who’ve experienced similar things.. It’s why we see causes, not symptoms. It’s why so many of us are in caring professions, while so many on the right disappear off to enrich themselves and give nothing back (including, in many cases, even taxes: which they avoid through their accountants and offshore havens).. And it’s also why, when we see someone under such sustained, never-ending attack (constant abuse every single day: why is it the media doesn’t care about that, but does care about disgusting abuse of others?) for the crime of representing us, we stand by him.. The more abuse he gets, the more steadfast our resolve becomes. The unprecedented nature of this onslaught can only mean one thing: much of the British establishment is up to its neck in cronyism and corruption, and terrified of what would come out under a Corbyn government.
I can’t speak for my followers – but I’d like to think most of them, like me, would be delighted to discuss issues people have with Corbyn’s leadership *constructively*. Through analysis based on facts. Not just opening your mouths and letting your bellies rumble.. Not cliche, not caricature, not lies, not ill-informed nonsense. But actual detail. Real, thoughtful analysis. There’s loads of things that can be criticised about his leadership. He’s not the Messiah.. but he’s not a very naughty boy either. The truth lies somewhere in between.. But if you just join in with the scapegoating – if you have some ritualistic desire to blame seemingly everything on the planet on a kind, decent, gentle man – the truth is: it’s not Corbyn who has the problem. It’s you.

Jeremy Corbyn Has Never Had Sympathy For IRA Terrorist Tactics ..
Whilst he condemns ‘all bombing’ carried out by the IRA, he has also been insistent on acknowledging the joint responsibility of ‘the British Army’ for the Troubles, not only because of such atrocities as Bloody Sunday but also because he believes that ‘the treatment of IRA prisoners’ was a key factor in their radicalisation.. Corbyn has never claimed to be neutral on this issue — and there are many who would hotly contest his point of view — but it does not follow from what I have just outlined that he has ever had any sympathy for IRA terrorist tactics.. As he has explained repeatedly , his campaigning on this issue in the past was shaped both by a belief ‘that Ireland should be reunited’ and by a desire for ‘a peace process’.
He claims to have always been insistent that there would never be ‘a military victory for either side in Northern Ireland’.

The Shami Chakrabarti Inquiry into antisemitism and other forms of racism in the Labour Party was published on June 30, 2016.. Professor David Feldman, Director of the Pears Institute for the study of Antisemitism, was appointed as Vice-Chair and lent his expertise to the Inquiry.. The report is the result of two months consultation with a wide range of groups and individuals and more than 1,000 written submissions.

I Think It Dangerous To Argue Guilt By Association ..
There can be little doubt that Corbyn reacted swiftly and decisively by commissioning the country’s leading human rights lawyer to conduct an independent inquiry.. But what does the report itself actually say? And does it cast a light in any way on the controversies surrounding Corbyn?
The take-home point of the report is that whilst the Labour Party ‘is not overrun by antisemitism’ there remains evidence of ‘minority hateful or ignorant attitudes’.
In the second paragraph of her foreword, Chakrabarti also criticises ‘an occasionally toxic atmosphere’ that is ‘in danger of shutting down free speech within the party rather than facilitating it’.
In the report Chakrabarti singles out for attention those who ‘build cases of criticism against people on the basis of those with whom they have “shared a platform”’.
She objects: ‘I think it dangerous to argue guilt by association and in so doing to undermine the kind of dialogue and debate that is the basis of peace, progress, and greater understanding in the world’.
Far from condemning Corbyn for tolerating or associating with antisemites, or for dismissing antisemitism within his own party, the Chakrabarti report appears to endorse his approach of engaging in dialogue and to strongly criticise those who have attacked him on this basis.. I’d be grateful if anyone can point to a single piece of media coverage of the report that makes this obvious point.

Brexit And UK Fishing Rights ..
The biggest lie perpetrated by Brexiteers like Michael Gove, Nigel Farage and Jacob Rees-Mogg is that we would instantly take back control of our fishing industry.
It’s not EU quotas that have led to the collapse of the fishing industry. It’s the fact that for years we have over-fished.. EU quotas on fishing were a way of controlling over-fishing to allow fish stocks to increase so we could have a sustainable industry.. And the UK had the second-largest allocation.. But it is clear countries like France and Spain didn’t even inform the EU how much fish they were landing, so over-fishing continued.. Also, technology led to smaller vessels being replaced by huge trawlers over-fishing on an industrial scale.. It was the greed and profit maximisation of the industry that has affected our coastal communities, not the EU.. Ironically, the UK fishing industry is in much better shape than any of our EU partners.. Profits are continuing to grow and are the highest across the EU.. And the Government actually decides how its EU fishing quota is distributed.. If it really cared about the fishing industry, it would ensure these coastal communities with smaller vessels were allowed to fish more.. Instead, we have larger foreign vessels being registered in the UK but landing their fish overseas.. Brexit won’t change that.. The Government can, but it has done nothing.

To Cut A Service Like This Is Criminal ..
One of the proudest legacies of the last Labour Government has been Sure Start.
Set up in 1998 – by the late Tessa Jowell – it has been invaluable for many new parents.. Its vital centres are in some of the country’s most vulnerable areas.
Sure Start is there to give help and advice, but that doesn’t do justice to the myriad of services it offers.. Nor does it do justice to the incredible help its centres have given people over the years.. They help with child and family healthcare, teach parenting skills, and advise on money, training and getting work.. They offer early learning opportunities and, in some instances, full day care for youngsters.. They also offer ‘soft services’ – a place for new mums to meet, share problems, pick up tips, encourage each other, make friends, have a cup of tea together, to chat.
But since the Tory Government came to power, Sure Start has been dismantled, the entire system gutted.. Since 2010, the official figures show that 500 have vanished.. Yet experts say the number is closer to a thousand.. Brutal cuts to council budgets have forced them to close.. It’s an insult to those young mothers who turned to Sure Start in their hour of need.. To cut a service like this is criminal.

Suppression Of Truth Is Already In Hand ..
People with full bellies, stable homes and secure employment do not allow themselves to be involved in civil disorder. Unfortunately we are living on borrowed money in a bankrupt society. When our debts catch up with us, society will collapse, violent disorder will ensue and martial law will be inevitable. Before our era of fossil fuels, despotic rule was the norm and democracies did not exist – we are going to return to that era. The hallmark of the tyrant is already being stamped on the nation for anyone willing to recognise it. Suppression of truth is already in hand, information on climate change has been removed from government websites. It is the preparation for your future governance. Oil is our prime source of energy, ‘alternatives’ cannot power our industrial infrastructure. Any business that continually burns through its assets at ten times the rate of replacement can be said to be bankrupt. That describes the global economy as clearly as it describes the smallest business enterprise. Fossil fuels are the only asset we have, because everything else is a derivative of coal oil and gas inputs. Without heat, nothing can be manufactured. We elect politicians to lie on our behalf, and offer prayers that the laws of physics should be contravened. We want to be told that our resources and growth are infinite. Everyone is complicit in the grand deceit. To accept the truth would destroy the existence of all of us. So to perpetuate that lie there is a collective insistence that the global economy must continue to function to a very simple (but ultimately nonsensical) formula: the more fuel we burn, the greater our gross domestic product. The faster we burn it, the higher our percentage growth.

Is The UK Government Lying Over The Skripal Incident ? ..
The United Kingdom unknowingly admitted that its government has been lying, accusing Russia of allegedly poisoning former spy Sergei Skripal and his daughter Yulia by the nerve agent Novichok on March 4 in Salisbury. The British government has already made two grave mistakes. First, it reported that an assassin smeared a nerve agent on the door handle at Skripal’s home. Second, according to the doctors of the hospital where Yulia Skripal is being treated, her condition is getting better and her health status is currently described as stable. Previously, the same doctors stated that Sergei Skripal and his daughter have only 1% hope of survival and ‘will be invalids for life’. Moreover, former chemical weapons scientist and former Russian chemical weapons’ program whistleblower Vil Mirzayanov, who is currently a leading western expert on toxic agents, assured the British media that two grams of Novichok will be enough to kill 500 people instantly. He also told the Daily Mail: “These people are gone — this man and his daughter. Even if they survive they will not recover.” If Sergey and Julia Skripal were poisoned in front of their house, then they wouldn’t have been able to walk through Salisbury. Thus, this fact completely excludes the use of nerve agent Novichok.
The earlier report that Skripal and his daughter had been attacked while sitting on a bench at a shopping mall has also been refuted by Scotland Yard.
Let us remind you, Scotland Yard detectives came to a conclusion that Sergey Skripal and his daughter were poisoned at their house. A particularly high concentration of agent was detected at the entrance door. If Skripal was poisoned at his home, then the agent used against him cannot be a nerve gas. A number of experts believe that such gases can kill people within a few minutes. Skripal simply did not have time to walk to a restaurant or shopping centre, where he was eventually found. There is no way that the agent used to poison Skripal and his daughter could be Novichok. More likely the victims received an overdose of painkillers that are used for anaesthetics. This show with the involvement of pseudo-experts and baseless allegations was specially staged by the British Government to increase tensions in Europe and contribute much to the rise of Russophobic sentiments around the world.

Excess Heat Is Altering Our Climate Beyond Human Tolerance ..
Collective prosperity at the global level depends on cheap surplus fossil fuel energy. For two centuries we have been able to use those fossil fuels as collateral for future debt, to build ever bigger machines to extract elemental resources from the earth. This has been our great burning, because extracted materials of themselves are of no use to us unless we use heat to process them into desirable commodities.
That excess heat is altering our climate beyond human tolerance. But heat provides our industrial growth economy: fuels must be consumed to sustain it and provide continued employment to make things that are ultimately thrown away in order to consume more to enable our debts to be continually carried forward. Our system of rolling debt depends on increasing energy input and burning it ad infinitum.
So they who assert that climate change is a hoax get voted into office, granting permission to burn our planet forever.

We Are Stealing From Our Own Future ..
We demand more, you have heard the aspiring tyrant’s words that promise more. Political promises evaporate when there is insufficient energy to support them. The notion of “Saudi America” is reassuring, but the facts are not. Despite the rhetoric and posturing, reality cannot be ignored. The USA produces around 12+ million barrels of oil a day, but uses 0ver 19 million barrels a day (2016).
This imbalance is not going to change, despite collective belief to the contrary.
The USA cannot produce sufficient oil to sustain itself. Price fluctuations and the ebb and flow of gluts should be ignored. If the cost of oil rises to a level that sustains the producers, users can’t afford to buy it. If it falls, oil producers can’t afford to extract it. This is the economic vice that is inexorably crushing the global industrial system as oil supplies decline. As surplus energy falls away, so does real income. We have substituted debt for income and caused that debt to grow to mask the reality of our situation. We are stealing from our own future and from generations unborn to stay solvent. It might be called intergenerational larceny. When our great grandchildren arrive they will find nothing left for them to burn. We are already in the phase of expending too much energy to get energy, which is why real income has been static for 30 years. We live in an energy economy, not a money economy. We cannot devote our commercial existence to the businesses of finding new sources of energy.

Our ‘Survival Brain’ Hasn’t Developed Beyond The Level Of The Hunter ..
Energy is required to sustain all life forms, we cannot go on taking more than our fair share. 80 million new people arrive on the planet each year. They demand to be housed, clothed and fed, spreading available resources even thinner. The mothers of the next 2 billion people are alive now. They will reproduce as a matter of personal survival, taking global population beyond 9 billion by mid century, guaranteeing our fall off the ‘energy cliff’ because the means to sustain that number does not exist. We are 7.5 billion people on a planet that, pre-oil, supported between 1 and 2 billion. By any reckoning, 5 billion people alive now do not have a future, let alone 2 billion more due over the next 30 years. We must burn fuel to maintain what we have, but the act of burning destroys what we have. This is contrary to human instinct, because our ‘survival brain’ hasn’t developed beyond the level of the hunter/gatherer. The only recourse will be violent conflict to take what others have. All wars are about survival and acquisition of resources. Conflict will destroy what energy sources we have left and finally exhaust any survivors. As energy supplies deplete, the industrial economy will enter its terminal phase, still suffering collective denial. But no nation can hold together without the fuel sources that created it. Secession will become inevitable, into five, six, seven or more regions in the USA, along racial, religious, political and geographic lines. The faultlines are already there, with no energy base there will be nothing to stop ultimate breakup.
Other conglomerations of states and provinces will also disintegrate. The EU, Russia, China, Africa will react and deny, but the end result cannot be avoided: Energy depletion = social/economic collapse.

Fascism Cloaked In Holy Orders ..
Without the power of fossil fuels there will be an inexorable regression to the brutalities of medievalism, where the command of muscle reflects political power.
As civil unrest takes hold, governments will act in the only way they know how: violent suppression to restore order. This will mean military intervention and imposition of martial law as civil breakdown becomes widespread. At that point your elected leader will assume the role of dictator and suspend the constitution.
Once established, godly certainties among those around him will cloak this in righteousness and subvert it into a theocracy of the worst kind. That will make it easier to identify the heathen and justify any form of retribution. It will be fascism cloaked in holy orders. Those who support him will become part of the new order. Those who do not will be dismissed from office, either voluntarily or more likely by force. Police and military will fall in behind whoever pays their wages, and enforce the new regime. Totalitarian states have shown that there is never a shortage of willing hands to perform unpleasant tasks. They are always ready and waiting to be recruited. So what of the years to come? The dictator’s power will grow for a time, and make life unpleasant for millions, but ultimately his Reich will extend only to the door of his bunker. No doubt he will remain in his seat of imagined power for as long as possible, issuing incoherent commands that cannot be fulfilled because there will be insufficient energy to do so, just as his predecessor discovered 75 years ago.
