Britain Has Known Of Israel’s Terror Against Palestinians For Over 20 Years.

A member of the House of Lords urged ministers to crack down on Palestine Action at the request of a U.S. defence company that employs him as an adviser.
Richard Dannatt, a former head of the British army, wrote privately to two separate Home Office ministers asking them to address the “threat” posed by the group after its activists targeted a factory in 2022.
The activists caused damage to the factory which is run by Teledyne, a U.S. multinational that sells technology for military, aerospace and other applications.
Lord Dannatt has been a paid adviser to the company since 2022.

Dannatt’s involvement after the attack on the factory in Wales led to allegations heard later in court that the peer was “seeking to influence” the criminal investigation into the Palestine Action activists.
His actions on behalf of the company demonstrate the value to companies looking to affect government policy of having a member of the House of Lords as an adviser.
Dannatt, 74, has sat in the Lords since 2011.
He is now under investigation by the house authorities over two sets of allegations that he broke parliamentary rules that forbid lobbying.

The Israeli ambassador in London, Tzipi Hotovely, has spent almost two years inciting genocide against Palestinians in Gaza.
She suggested that “every school, every mosque, every second house” in Gaza had access to underground tunnels and was therefore a legitimate target for Israel.
She has also claimed that Hamas bases “all of its headquarters” in Gaza’s hospitals, a narrative used by Israel to devastate the strip’s healthcare system.
Declassified UK obtained Hotovely’s diary, which offers unprecedented details about who the hard right ambassador has been meeting in private.
It exposes how an array of pro-Israel lobbyists, Labour donors, businessmen, and Lords have been frequenting Hotovely’s embassy amid the Gaza genocide.

Hotovely’s diary indicates a close working relationship between pro-Israel lobby organisations in Britain and the Israeli embassy in London.
While the Conservative and Labour Friends of Israel (CFI and LFI) groups claim not to be funded by Tel Aviv, they certainly liaise regularly with its ambassador in London.
Hotovely met four times with Stuart Polak, a director and honorary president of CFI who once described being made a member of the House of Lords as a “once in a lifetime opportunity” to advocate for Israel.
The Israeli ambassador also met with figures associated with LFI on four occasions, including Michael Rubin, Jon Pearce MP, and Lord Jonathan Mendelsohn.
Rubin, the director of LFI, was secretly filmed in a 2017 Al Jazeera documentary saying the lobby group and the Israeli embassy “work really closely together, but a lot of it is behind the scenes”.

An Israeli Government Official Arrested In The U.S. For Preying On Children Is Allowed To Return To Israel.
An Israeli government cyber-security official was arrested by Las Vegas police and other authorities in Nevada who were conducting an undercover investigation aimed at online users seeking to sexually prey on children.
Tom Artiom Alexandrovich, 38, faces felony charges of luring a child with a computer for a sex act, alongside several other suspects who were apprehended during the two-week sting operation.
He has since been released from custody on $10,000 bail after an initial court appearance, records show, and returned to Israel.
As first reported by the news site Mediaite, a publicly posted screenshot of Alexandrovich’s page on the LinkedIn professional networking platform described him as the executive director of the Israel Cyber Directorate, an Israeli government agency under the purview of prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office.

Britain Has Known Of Israel’s Terror Against Palestinians For Over 20 Years.
There were “numerous reports that the Israeli authorities have prevented medical and other humanitarian assistance from reaching those in need”.
The Red Cross was saying “that their staff have been threatened at gunpoint, warning shots have been fired at their vehicles and two ICRC [Red Cross] vehicles have been damaged by tanks”.
There were “media reports of people dying for lack of treatment” and on the “humanitarian impact of curfews affecting over 1 million people”.
There were Israeli soldiers indulging in “theft and looting from homes and shops and the vandalism of people’s homes”.
And “many reports of the killing of unarmed Palestinians”.
Sound familiar?
But this is not Gaza in 2025 –– It was the occupied West Bank in 2002, described in an internal Foreign Office report revealed in the British archives.

Then as now, Israel claimed to be acting “defensively”.
In April 2002, Israel launched “Operation Defensive Shield”, a large-scale military intervention in the major cities and surrounding areas of the West Bank.
Ordered by then prime minister Ariel Sharon in response to numerous suicide bombings against Israelis by Palestinian militant groups, including Hamas, the Israeli military killed nearly 500 Palestinians within a month.
An official in the Foreign Office’s Middle East Peace Process Section wrote that the intervention in the West Bank involved a “pattern” of “human rights abuses” by the Israeli military.
As in Gaza today, the onslaught in 2002 was supposedly meant to end terrorism against Israel.

The files contain an extraordinary report by an unnamed senior British army officer, who wrote that the Israel Defence Forces (IDF) were a “second rate, ill disciplined, swaggering and bullying force”.
“They routinely use excessive force such as firing at the ‘legs’ of stone throwers or at ‘car tyres’ with the inevitable stream of ambulances ferrying youths to hospital with fatal bullet wounds to the head and body”, he wrote.
The officer added, in another echo of the present: “The only area where individuals have been held accountable is where IDF actions have resulted in deaths of their own as opposed to the deaths of Palestinians”.
Then as now, Israeli actions involved war crimes.
The files contain a report from Oxfam that in April 2002 the Israeli military used its tanks and bulldozers to cut the main water supply pipelines at 24 different places in Ramallah and other towns in the West Bank.

Oxfam’s 2002 report could virtually have been written at any time during Israel’s latest onslaught against Gaza.
It noted “grave breaches of humanitarian law, including the targeting of medical personnel, denial of medical care to the injured and chronically ill, actual and threatened violence against clearly-identified staff of the ICRC, Palestinian Red Crescent Society and the UN, wanton destruction of civilian infrastructure for water and electricity, and a basic lack of respect for civilian life and welfare”.
What has the UK been doing in the 23 years since officials were privately horrified by Israeli war crimes during Operation Defensive Shield?
The answer is that it has been deepening relations with Israel across the board.

Charlie Kirk rejected an offer from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to arrange a massive new infusion of Zionist money into his Turning Point USA (TPUSA) organisation, America’s largest conservative youth association, according to a longtime friend of the murdered commentator speaking on the condition of anonymity.
The source told The Grayzone that the late pro-Trump influencer believed Netanyahu was trying to cow him into silence as he began to publicly question Israel’s overwhelming influence in Washington and demanded more space to criticise it.

In the weeks leading up to his September 10 assassination, Kirk had come to loathe the Israeli leader, regarding him as a “bully,” the source said.
Kirk was disgusted by what he witnessed inside the Trump administration, where Netanyahu sought to personally dictate the president’s personnel decisions, and weaponised Israeli assets like billionaire donor Miriam Adelson to keep the White House firmly under its thumb.

According to Kirk’s friend, who also enjoyed access to President Donald Trump and his inner circle, Kirk strongly warned Trump last June against bombing Iran on Israel’s behalf.
“Charlie was the only person who did that,” they said, recalling how Trump “barked at him” in response and angrily shut down the conversation.
The source believes the incident confirmed in Kirk’s mind that the president of the United States had fallen under the control of a malign foreign power, and was leading his own country into a series of disastrous conflicts.

Multiple Reuters Employees Claim The Company’s Editors And Management Are Pro-Israel.
When Israel assassinated Palestinian journalist Anas al-Sharif, the Reuters news agency ran a report titled: “Israel kills Al Jazeera journalist it says was Hamas leader”.
They chose that headline despite the fact al-Sharif used to work for them.
He was part of a Reuters team that won a 2024 Pulitzer Prize.
Instances like this caused a backlash online, but also sparked concern among some staff at the influential global newswire, which was founded in London in 1851 and now has a daily audience of more than a billion.

Multiple Reuters employees have spoken to Declassified about what they see as pro-Israel bias among the company’s editors and management.
All requested anonymity to avoid reprisals.
Another, a desk editor, resigned around August 2024, telling colleagues in an email: “Through covering what we call the Israel-Hamas war, I’ve realised that my values don’t align with those of the company.”
In the email, they also said,“ I’ve attached a report and an open letter some colleagues and I sent to management in the hopes that Reuters will uphold basic journalistic principles, but I now recognise that senior leadership is unlikely to change, much less stop actively stifling critiques.”

At least one Palestinian child has been killed every hour on average by Israeli forces in Gaza over nearly 23 months of war, with the number of children killed now surpassing 20,000, Save the Children said.
The latest data released by the Government Media Office in Gaza showed at least 20,000 children, about 2% of Gaza’s child population, have been killed since October 2023.
At least 1,009 of the children killed were under age one, with nearly half (450) of these babies born and killed during the war.
At least 42,011 children have been injured, according to the Ministry of Health, with the UN Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities reporting at least 21,000 children left permanently disabled.
Thousands more are missing or presumed buried under rubble.

A Kenyan teenager allegedly raped and murdered by British soldiers had seven broken ribs when she died, a secret army file reveals.
A battery similar to that used by the UK military was also found in her grave.
The victim, Mantoi Lekoloi Kaunda, was 16 and pregnant when she was killed around 1996-7 in a remote part of Kenya where British troops go for training.
Her body was exhumed in 2004, but the autopsy results were never shared with her family until now.
They are contained in a Royal Military Police report obtained by Declassified UK through freedom of information requests which the Ministry of Defence (MoD) initially refused.
Disclosure was only granted after Mantoi’s sister, Noldonyio Piro, who was allegedly raped in the same attack but survived, supplied a letter in support of Declassified’s request.

Mantoi’s murder remains unsolved two decades later.
Her sister, Noldonyio Piro, told ITV: “I saw two white soldiers in army uniform a long way away. One chased me and hit me hard on the back of my head. I fell down and he stood on my arm and it snapped. He was sitting on my back. He was raping me. And then I passed out.”
Mantoi’s alleged rape and murder occurred in Archers Post, a vast area of communal land used by hundreds of British soldiers every year for military exercises.
The family’s allegations only came to light a decade later, as part of a wider scandal that saw UK forces accused of raping hundreds of Maasai and Samburu women.
