German Journalist Is Sanctioned By The EU For His Reporting On Israel’s Crimes In Gaza

The BBC Is Writing Hundreds Of Articles On Iran’s Alleged Nuclear Programme While Failing To Inform The Public About Israel’s Actual Nuclear Weapons.
The BBC is failing to properly inform the public about Israel’s possession of nuclear arms.
The British broadcaster widely reported Israel’s attacks on Iran which began on 13 June 2025, and U.S. airstrikes on the country that took place on 22 June 2025.
Both Israel and the U.S. claimed their attacks, which are widely seen as illegal, were to prevent Iran from developing a nuclear weapons capability.

But the irony of two nuclear armed-states attacking a non-nuclear state to prevent it acquiring such weapons appears to have been lost on the BBC.
The British broadcaster appears to barely notice that Israel is a nuclear-armed state.
While many of the BBC’s hundreds of articles about Iran quote Israeli officials on Tehran’s nuclear programme, the broadcaster is failing to consult independent sources of information about Israel’s nuclear arms.

Ex-Israeli Commander Says The Israeli Army Killed Most Of The Israeli Hostages In Jabalia, Gaza.
A former Israeli military commander and negotiator has revealed that most Israeli hostages held in the Jabalia area of northern Gaza were killed by Israeli army fire, not by their captors.
Nitzan Alon, in an interview with the daily Yedioth Ahronoth, attributed the deaths to critical “intelligence gaps” during Israel’s military operations.

Alon stated that many hostages who had arrived in Gaza alive later died when Israeli forces bombed the buildings where they were being held.
He cited one specific incident in December 2023 where three hostages were killed due to “incorrect assumptions on the ground.”
According to Alon, hostages’ testimonies repeatedly mentioned “the fear caused by our airstrikes,” and Hamas’s military wing had broadcast videos of captives pleading for an end to the bombardment, appeals that were ignored by Tel Aviv.

Alon’s comments undermine official Israeli narratives and raise severe questions about the military’s rules of engagement and intelligence coordination.
He also downplayed the impact of the hostages’ families’ protests on negotiations.
The revelations point to a profound operational failure with devastating human costs for both sides, challenging the stated objective of the military campaign to rescue captives and suggesting significant internal accountability issues within the Israeli defence establishment.

Israel Continue To Attack Syria And illegally Detain Syrian Citizens And Hold Them Inside Israel.
Since the Bashar al-Assad regime fell in December 2024, Israel has carried out frequent air strikes across Syria, killing hundreds of people, while also conducting ground operations in the south.
In November 2025, Israeli forces killed at least 13 people in the Damascus countryside town of Beit Jinn.
In addition, it has advanced deeper into Syrian territory and established numerous checkpoints, while illegally detaining Syrian citizens and holding them inside Israel.

Syria’s new President Ahmed al-Sharaa has accused Israel of stoking regional tensions to divert attention from the “horrifying massacres” it has committed in Gaza.
Ahmed al-Sharaa said “Israeli leaders often exports crises to other countries as they increasingly invoke security pretexts to expand military action. Israel must withdraw to where they were before the fall of al-Assad, and preserve the 1974 Disengagement Accord.”

U.S. Forces Bombed Venezuela And Kidnapped Its President, Nicolás Maduro.
This was a clear breach of international law, violating the terms of the UN charter which prohibit interference in and the use of force against sovereign states.
Yet British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, a former human rights lawyer, has refused to condemn the attack or even acknowledge its brazen illegality.
By contrast, it took him less than 24 hours to call Vladimir Putin’s invasion of Ukraine a “war of aggression”.

While refusing to condemn Trump’s actions, Starmer insisted there “was no UK involvement in this operation”.
Royal Navy personnel have nonetheless been embedded in the U.S. armada surrounding Venezuela over recent weeks, with the Ministry of Defence refusing to clarify whether they were present during the attack.
But even if British forces did not directly participate in the military operation, the UK government has been quietly backing Washington’s destabilisation efforts in Venezuela for years.

Since 2019, Britain has frozen over $2billion of Venezuelan gold in the Bank of England, sponsored anti-government initiatives, and even set up a secret “Venezuela Reconstruction Unit” to plan for the day after Maduro’s overthrow.
The Bank’s directors were uneasy about the legal implications of freezing a foreign state’s assets, but the UK Foreign Office worked to ease their nerves.
Starmer is therefore not speaking in abstract terms when he says “the UK has long supported a transition of power in Venezuela”.

Children And Babies Are Dying From The Cold In Gaza.
According to the Gaza-based Government Media Office, at least 21 people, including 18 children, have died from the cold since the start of Israel’s genocidal war in October 2023.
All were living in makeshift displacement camps.
Three Palestinian children ( a two-month-old baby, a four-year-old and a newborn baby aged seven days) have died in the Gaza Strip in the last couple of days from exposure to cold, amid a severe shortage of shelter and heating caused by Israel’s ongoing blockade.

During an intense two-year bombing campaign, Israel has destroyed large swathes of Gaza’s homes, hospitals and civilian infrastructure.
Around 1.5 million people remain without adequate shelter today, as the ongoing Israeli blockade continues to restrict the entry of tents, mobile homes and heating supplies, in a violation of the ceasefire signed in October 2025.
According to the Shelter Cluster, an inter-agency mechanism, more than 42,000 tents and makeshift shelters were damaged between 10 and 17 December 2025 alone due to storms, affecting nearly a quarter of a million people in the besieged enclave.

The Sudanese RSF Is Covertly Backed By Israel And Is Copying Israel’s Tactics In Its Genocide In Gaza.
The Sudanese so-called ‘Rapid Support Forces’ (RSF) have murdered at least three aid workers and wounded four others in a drone strike.
The strike targeted an aid convoy in South Kordofan, according to a report by the Sudan Doctors Network (SDN).
The United Nations has confirmed that the RSF is committing ethnically-based genocide in Sudan, with mass murders of non-Arab civilians.
In a social media post, the SDN described the attack as a deliberate targeting of humanitarian workers and of desperately-needed aid, and a “dangerous escalation”:

While the UAE’s alleged support for the RSF has featured in headlines, the group is also covertly backed by Israel and is copying Israel’s tactics in its genocide in Gaza, both in killings and in the propaganda used to whitewash them.
The RSF has changed its self-promotion and positioning in response to Israel’s support.
In April 2023, it removed the word “Quds”, the Arabic for Jerusalem, from its logo.

The RSF has killed an estimated 100,000 people in the Sudan genocide since 2023, though the figure may well be higher.
The new United Nations report says that the RSF violence meets at least three of five criteria to be classed as genocide.
Any one of the five is enough to qualify as genocide.

German Journalist Is Sanctioned By The EU For His Reporting On Israel’s Crimes In Gaza.
Hüseyin Dogru is the first European Union citizen known to be living inside the EU to face extrajudicial sanctions imposed by Brussels, robbing him of fundamental civil and humanitarian rights.
Dogru is a journalist, a German citizen living in Berlin.
He is also the first person to be sanctioned specifically for his reporting related to Palestine.

Hüseyin Dogru said: “I have zero access to any money. I can’t provide food for my family, including two newborns, due to EU sanctions. I’m not allowed to exist anymore, I’m not allowed to provide my children with the basic necessities. I can’t pay my rent, I can’t pay my lawyers and yes, I’m not even allowed to accept any kind of food, water or medicine whatsoever from third parties.”

The sanctions block all of Dogru’s property and ban him from traveling.
In theory, they do allow him to withdraw $600 a month from his own account, but in practice his bank has repeatedly blocked even this.
In any case, $600 does not go very far in an expensive city like Berlin.
Dogru and his family have had to cut back severely to try to survive.
Dogru could face harsh punishment for accepting assistance from anyone.
Draconian EU directives call for up to five years in prison for anyone who violates the sanctions against Dogru and other individuals.

Civilians Killed In Gaza By Israel Is Much Higher Than Reported.
More than 75,000 people were killed in the first 16 months of the two-year attack on  Gaza, at least 25,000 more than the death toll announced by local authorities at the time, according to a study published in the Lancet Global Health medical journal.
The research also found that reporting by the Gaza health ministry about the proportion of women, children and elderly people among those killed was accurate.
A total of 42,200 women, children and elderly people died between 7 October 2023, when Hamas launched an attack into Israel that prompted a devastating Israeli offensive into Gaza, and 5 January 2025, the study found.
These deaths comprised 56% of violent deaths in Gaza.
