More Than 80% Of Those Killed By Israel In Gaza Are Civilians.
A former Israeli army commander, Herzi Halevi, has confirmed that more than 200,000 Palestinians have been killed or injured in the attack on Gaza, and that “not once” in the course of the conflict were military operations inhibited by legal advice.
Halevi stepped down as chief of staff in March 2025, after leading the Israel Defence Forces (IDF) for the first 17 months of the onslaught

The retired general told a community meeting in southern Israel that more than 10% of Gaza’s 2.2 million population had been killed or injured, “more than 200,000 people”.
That estimate is notable as it is close to the current figures provided by Gaza’s health ministry, which Israeli officials have frequently dismissed as Hamas propaganda, though the ministry figures have been deemed reliable by international humanitarian agencies.

The current official toll is 64,718 Palestinians killed in Gaza and 163,859 injured, since the start of the attack on October 7, 2023.
Many thousands more are feared dead, with their bodies buried in the rubble.
The Gaza ministry statistics do not distinguish between civilians and fighters, but leaked Israeli military intelligence data on casualties until May 2025 suggested that more than 80% of the dead were civilians.

The United Nations and France have condemned an Israeli attack that hit UN peacekeeping troops in southern Lebanon.
UN spokesperson Stephane Dujarric said that the attack on UNIFIL troops on October 26, which he said involved an Israeli drone dropping a grenade in the vicinity of a patrol, as well as a tank opening fire on peacekeepers near the border town of Kfar Kila, was “very, very dangerous”.

The United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) works with the Lebanese army to enforce a ceasefire struck last year between Israel and the Lebanese armed group Hezbollah.
Israel has violated the truce on a near-daily basis.
France’s Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs also condemned “the Israeli fire that targeted a UNIFIL detachment” and noted that the incidents followed similar attacks on October 1, 2 and 11.

Israel still illegally-occupies five positions in southern Lebanon and has been launching near-daily attacks in defiance of the ceasefire.
At least two brothers were killed in a strike on the village of al-Bayyad in the Tyre district on October 26.
The Lebanese official news agency ANI said that the two were killed in an attack on a sawmill in al-Bayyad.
Three people were killed on the same day in Israeli raids on southern and eastern Lebanon.

Leaked Documents Have Exposed How The Former Prime Minister Has Sought To Enrich Himself Since Leaving Office.
As he boarded the night train to Ukraine, Boris Johnson had the usual entourage of aides and bodyguards, plus the man who had given him £1million.
Less than a year had passed since Johnson accepted what is thought to be the largest donation ever to an individual MP.
It was from Christopher Harborne, one of the UK’s biggest and most private political donors.
Harborne, whose millions helped bankroll Brexit, made the payment to a private company Johnson set up after resigning as prime minister.

Now, leaked files show that Johnson, a champion of Ukraine in office and since, was accompanied in September 2023 by his benefactor on a two-day visit that included meetings with top officials.
What the files do not explain is why.
And neither the former prime minister nor his backer will say.
The organisers of the high-level gathering they attended in Kyiv say Harborne was registered as “adviser, Office of Boris Johnson”.

Harborne has wide expertise: a self-described “digital nomad”, his holdings range from cryptocurrency and a wellness centre to jet fuel and stakes in at least three military contractors.
His only apparent connection to Ukraine is as the biggest shareholder in a British weapons manufacturer whose robots and drones are reportedly supplied to its armed forces.
The Boris Files, leaked documents from Johnson’s private office, have exposed how the former PM has sought to enrich himself since leaving office by sitting down with a Venezuelan despot and courting Mohammed bin Salman, the Saudi crown prince accused of ordering the murder of a journalist.

Israel Accused Of Torture, Mutilation And Organ Theft.
Gaza’s Government Media Office formally accused Israel on October 17, 2025 of stealing organs from Palestinians after Israel returned 120 mutilated bodies following the recent ceasefire, including some who had been tortured to death.
“We formally accuse the Israeli army of stealing organs from the martyrs,” stated Dr. Ismail al-Thawabta, Director General of the Media Office, while demanding an international investigation into Israel’s “torture, mutilation, and organ theft.”

The 120 bodies “arrived in extremely poor and distressing condition,” including blindfolded, bound, crushed under tanks, and missing corneas, livers, and limbs, Thawabta stated.
“The Israeli occupation executed many of them in cold blood. A large number were found blindfolded, with their hands and feet bound, and others showed signs of hanging or close-range gunfire. We also found bodies showing clear evidence of severe torture until death.”

The Israeli authorities refused to provide the names of the victims, making it extremely difficult for authorities in Gaza to identify them.
After the release of the bodies, families of missing Palestinians rushed to hospitals, especially Nasser Hospital, trying to see if their relatives were among them.
But many remain unidentified and will have to be buried anonymously

According to the Media Office’s data, 9,500 Palestinians remain missing, most of them trapped under the rubble of destroyed buildings.
“Entire families, father, mother, children, remain buried for nearly two years,” the Media Office director stated.
The bodies are difficult to locate due to the sheer amount of destruction Israeli bombing has caused, and because Israel has destroyed almost all of Gaza’s heavy machinery, bulldozers, and excavators, preventing rescue operations.

While the destruction of buildings and infrastructure in Gaza is visible in every video we see, less visible is the parallel destruction of ecosystems and means of subsistence.

Israeli ground troops have demolished greenhouses, bulldozers have toppled orchards, ploughed out crops and crushed the soil, and planes have sprayed herbicides over the fields.
The Israel Defence Forces (IDF) justify these attacks by claiming that “Hamas often operates from within orchards, fields, and agricultural land.”
And apparently from hospitals, schools, universities, industrial estates and any other resources on which the Palestinians depend.
All the IDF needs to do in order to rationalise destruction is to suggest that Hamas has operated or might operate from the thing it wants to destroy.
And if there’s no evidence, sorry, too late.

The IDF is steadily expanding the “buffer zone” along Gaza’s eastern border, which happens to contain much of the Strip’s agricultural land.
As the human rights specialist Hamza Hamouchene points out, rather than “making the desert bloom”, a mainstay of Israeli state propaganda, it is turning fertile and productive land into desert.
The Israeli government has been felling Palestinians’ ancient olive trees for decades to deprive them of subsistence, demoralise them and break their connection with the land.
Olives are both materially crucial, accounting for 14% of the Palestinian economy, and symbolically powerful.
If there are no olive trees, there can be no olive branch.
Israel’s scorched-earth policy, in conjunction with its blockade of food supplies, guarantees famine.

There are credible reports of the IDF illegally using white phosphorus, a hideous chemical and incendiary weapon that also causes widespread contamination of soil and water.
Toxic dust and smoke inhalation have major impacts on people’s health.
When you consider the ecocide alongside the genocide, you begin to grasp the totality of the Israeli state’s attempt to eliminate both the Palestinians and their homeland.
As the Palestinian ecologist Mazin Qumsiyeh argues: “Environmental degradation is not incidental. It is intentional, protracted, and aimed at breaking the eco-sumud (ecological steadfastness) of the Palestinian people.”

A court in Cyprus has sentenced an Israeli real estate agent to prison for illegally developing and selling apartment complexes on land owned by Greek Cypriots in the Turkish-occupied north.
Israeli businessman Shimon Mistriel Aykout, 74, received a five-year prison sentence, following a plea bargain that covered “40 charges of illegal property appropriation.”
Between 2014 and 2024, Aykout led the Afik Group of Companies, which authorities reported constructed approximately 400,000 square meters across four northern villages.

An Israeli Soldier Took A Kneeling Position, Fired A Single Live Bullet, And Killed A 9-Year-Old Palestinian Boy. 
On October 16, 2025, around 5:00pm mIsraeli forces shot and killed nine-year-old Mohammad Bahjat Mohammad Hallaq in the southern illegally-occupied West Bank, according to documentation collected by Defence for Children International Palestine.
Mohammad was playing football along with several other young boys in the centre of the village of Al-Rihiya, south of Hebron in the illegally-occupied West Bank.
Two Israeli military jeeps entered the village, after which four Israeli soldiers exited the vehicles, spread out along the street, and began firing tear gas canisters and live bullets randomly and directly at the children.
As Mohammad and the other children fled westward, one soldier took a kneeling position and fired a single live bullet that struck Mohammad.
An older boy managed to pull Mohammad away and carry the injured Mohammad to his uncle’s house nearby.
Mohammad was then taken in a private vehicle to Abu Al-Hasan Al-Qasim Hospital in Yatta, where he was later pronounced dead around 6:00pm.

Scores Of Israeli Women Have Come Forward, Describing Years Of Sadistic Child Sex Abuse That They Say Was Disguised As Jewish Rituals.
The women report that the sex abuse they endured as children had been compounded by systemic silencing and neglect from authorities.
Israeli Law enforcement authorities have launched a criminal investigation into hundreds of allegations of organised ritual child sexual abuse cases in Israel.
This follows deeply distressing testimonies of torture, rape, and disturbing “religious ritualistic” activities presented to the Knesset.
However, the parliamentary hearing, which commenced on July 27, 2025 and remains ongoing, has featured accounts from alleged victims testifying that the alleged perpetrators themselves have been amongst active Knesset members.
The alleged victims who are now adults have described enduring severe abuse during their childhoods, predominantly within ultra-Orthodox and national-religious communities in Jerusalem, Bnei Brak, Haifa, Safed, and additional locales.
The women recounted tales of the abhorrent sexual abuse they experienced as children, usually by groups of people, involving ritualistic, religious rhetoric and iconography.
The abuse took place in synagogues, private homes, schools, warehouses, cemeteries and forests, they alleged.
