Israel’s Finance Minister Says The Gaza Strip Could be A “Real Estate Bonanza”.
Israel’s far-right finance minister Bezalel Smotrich has said the Gaza Strip could be a “real estate bonanza”
and that he is in talks with the U.S. about dividing up the territory after the “war” – an idea previously condemned internationally.
Speaking at an event in Tel Aviv, he said “a business plan is on President Trump’s table”.
“We’ve done the demolition phase. Now we need to build,” he said.
In February 2025, Donald Trump floated plans for the U.S. to take “a long-term ownership position” over Gaza, saying it could be the “Riviera of the Middle East”.
The idea would involve the forced displacement of Palestinians in the territory and be in violation of international law.

IDF Snipers From Chicago And Munich Went To Gaza And Murdered Civilians.
A five-month investigation reveals how four members of one family were shot and killed in a single day and highlights a pattern in which Israeli troops target unarmed Palestinian civilians.
Daniel Raab shows no hesitation as he watches footage of 19-year-old Salem Doghmosh crumpling to the ground beside his brother in a street in northern Gaza.
“That was my first elimination,” he says.
The video, shot by a drone, lasts just a few seconds.
The Palestinian teenager appears to be unarmed when he is shot in the head.
Raab, a former varsity basketball player from a Chicago suburb who became an Israeli sniper, concedes he knew that.
He says he shot Salem simply because he tried to retrieve the body of his beloved older brother Mohammed.

The video of Salem’s killing, and footage of other attacks on unarmed Palestinians, was posted online five months after his death, part of a montage made by a soldier called Shalom Gilbert to celebrate a deployment in Gaza.
Raab later said he and another sniper carried out three of those killings, in an interview carried out under deceptive circumstances by a team led by the Palestinian journalist and activist Younis Tirawi.
Raab was approached by a Hebrew speaker who claimed he wanted to write about the squad’s experiences and to commemorate fallen soldiers, Tirawi said.
Raab was promised anonymity, but Tirawi posted extracts of the interview online, justifying the decision by saying it was in the public interest, given the scale of civilian killings.
Raab did not name his partner, who was later identified from photos as a German national “Daniel G”.

An Israeli pharmaceutical company that operates at the heart of the NHS has been aiding the Israeli military during its genocide in Gaza.
Teva, one of the world’s largest drugs producers, supplies around 14% of the prescribed medicine packs given out in the UK every year.
The company’s products are widely sold to UK pharmacies, and include antibiotics, pain relievers and cholesterol reducers.
Based in Tel Aviv but with several sites in Britain, Teva specialises in treatments for disorders of the central nervous system, migraine, respiratory conditions and cancer.
Declassified has found the company also has a close relationship to the Israel Defence Forces (IDF).
Several hundred Teva employees in Israel, amounting to at least 10% of its workforce there, were called up for reserve army duty after the Hamas attacks on October 7, 2023.

Teva has also partnered with Momentum, a non-profit group in Israel which helps Israeli combat soldiers address their mental health needs such as post-traumatic stress syndrome.
In a further collaboration the drugs firm has partnered with an organisation called Thank Israeli Soldiers (TIS), which is “dedicated to supporting IDF soldiers through partnerships with Israeli nonprofits”.
The firm’s links to the IDF are long standing.
In 2009 Teva was one of the Israeli companies recognised by the IDF as having an “exemplary” relationship with their reservist employees.
Teva operates several sites in the UK including at Runcorn in Cheshire, Larne in Northern Ireland, Harlow in Essex and Castleford, West Yorkshire.

There are Boycott Teva campaigns in several countries including Britain.
Dr Tony O’Sullivan, co-chair of Keep Our NHS Public and a retired consultant paediatrician, told Declassified: “Israel stands accused of genocide, and it is wholly unacceptable for Britain to continue to contract with companies which are actively engaged in supporting the Israeli military campaign against Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank. Teva is heavily involved in providing both specialist and generic pharmaceuticals to the NHS. The British government should urgently seek alternative providers of pharmaceuticals and actively disengage with this company at the earliest opportunity.”
Teva hosted then prime minister David Cameron, alongside prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu, at an event in Israel in 2014 celebrating a new collaboration between the company and the NHS.
In 2017, the Tory government said the cost to the NHS of purchasing drugs from Teva was up to £500million a year.

Boris Johnson Courted Saudi Arabia Officials For Personal Gain.
Boris Johnson approached senior Saudi officials he had met when he was prime minister to pitch the services of a consultancy firm he claimed “could be useful” to the petrostate’s autocratic crown prince, Mohammed bin Salman, leaked files suggest.
Johnson, who resigned from government in 2022, appears to have led the newly formed company’s efforts last year to persuade the Saudi government to hire it to provide advice on reducing carbon emissions.
The revelations, contained in leaked documents seen by the Guardian, appear to show Johnson exploited contacts he had made in Downing Street for commercial purposes.
They raise questions about whether he breached lobbying restrictions imposed on former ministers.
Johnson’s overtures to the most powerful figures in Saudi Arabia were for Better Earth, a little-known UK-based consultancy firm established by a Canadian mining financier, who co-chairs the company with Johnson.

Johnson personally wrote a flattering letter addressed to Prince Mohammed, telling the de facto Saudi leader he was a “fervent admirer of the vision you have for the kingdom”.
As prime minister and, earlier in his career, foreign secretary, Johnson engaged extensively with the government of Saudi Arabia, an authoritarian state that rights groups have long criticised for human rights abuses.
The letter is contained in the Boris Files, a cache of leaked documents that shine a light on Johnson’s post-prime ministerial career.
The cache offers an inside view of how Johnson has forged a lucrative career in the private sector after leaving government, using his influence and contacts made while in public office.

The UK Government Is Facilitating The Training Of Israeli Pilots To Fly The Aircraft That Drop 2,000lb Bombs On Palestinian Civilians.
On August 26, 2025, four activists from the group ‘Palestinian Martyrs for Justice’ crashed through the gates of a factory in Wolverhampton and climbed onto its rooftop.
The target was Moog, a U.S.-owned engineering company which designs and manufactures components for military aircraft worldwide.
They accused the company of supplying Israel’s largest arms firm Elbit Systems with aircraft parts “used to train Israeli pilots to fly F-16 and F-35 fighter jets”.
Declassified and The Ditch had previously reported how Moog sent at least ten shipments of trainer aircraft parts to an Elbit Systems site in Israel between December 2024 and July 2025.

But it can now be revealed that Moog has also been directly supplying Israel’s ministry of defence with components used to train Israeli pilots to fly advanced fighter jets.
Cargo documents expose how the aerospace firm sent two shipments for the M-346 Lavi programme in July 2025, with the address corresponding to Israel’s defence ministry in Tel Aviv.
The M-346 Lavi is a high-performance aircraft designed to train Israeli pilots to fly jets including the F-16 and F-35.
The revelation details how the UK government, through its arms export regime, is facilitating the training of Israeli pilots to fly the aircraft dropping 2,000lb bombs on civilians.
This is despite the government having claimed it suspended export licences for equipment that could be used by Israeli forces in Gaza.

Nigel Farage is using a private company to reduce his tax bill on his GB News media appearances and other outside employment in a television star-style arrangement that has in recent years become frowned on by major broadcasters.
The Reform UK leader diverts money from his prime-time TV show into his company, which means that he paid only 25% corporation tax on profits, instead of 40% income tax, and could offset some expenses.
The Clacton MP, who is also paid a £94,000-a-year MP’s salary, has in the past criticised people who try to avoid tax as the “common enemy” and has previously come under fire for setting up a trust fund in an offshore tax haven.
Farage claimed last year to have “bought a house” in his constituency, but the property is actually owned in the name of his partner, meaning he legally avoided higher-rate stamp duty on the purchase of an additional home, given that he already owns other properties.

Being paid by Israel to post on social media is very lucrative.
According to previously unreported recent documents, these influencers are likely being paid around $7,000 per post on social media such as Tik Tok and Instagram on behalf of Israel.
In a meeting dedicated to harnessing pro-Israel media energy, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu alluded to a cohort of Israel’s influencers. “We have to fight back. How do we fight back? Our influencers. I think you should also talk to them if you have a chance, to that community, they are very important.
Bridges Partners, a firm working for the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs, sent a series of invoices for its “Influencer Campaign” to Havas Media Group Germany, an international media group working for Israel.
The invoices detailed a sum of $900,000, starting in June 2025 and end in November 2025, for a cohort of 14-18 influencers to create content.

Israel’s Actions In Gaza Meet The Legal Definition Of Genocide.
The world’s leading genocide scholars’ association has backed a resolution stating that Israel’s actions in Gaza meet the legal definition of the crime.
The resolution states that “Israel’s policies and actions in Gaza meet the legal definition of genocide in article II of the United Nations convention for the prevention and punishment of the crime of genocide (1948).”
The three-page resolution passed by the body calls on Israel to “immediately cease all acts that constitute genocide, war crimes and crimes against humanity against Palestinians in Gaza, including deliberate attacks against and killing of civilians including children; starvation; deprivation of humanitarian aid, water, fuel, and other items essential to the survival of the population; sexual and reproductive violence; and forced displacement of the population.”
