Israel Sold Arms To Argentina During The Falklands War.
Argentina invaded the Falkland Islands, a British territory in the South Atlantic, in April 1982.
The UK responded by dispatching a naval task force to retake the territory.
The conflict lasted for 74 days and cost the lives of over 900 people.
Argentina’s prospects of holding onto the islands had been boosted by military support from Israel.
Argentina was able to acquire over twenty Nasher fighter jets from Israel, with more Israeli weapons and supplies secretly transferred through Peru.
It also used Israeli-supplied Skyhawk jets to sink four British warships, including the Sir Galahad, which resulted in the deaths of 48 soldiers.
Israel repeatedly misled the UK government about its military support to Argentina, provoking a diplomatic crisis between both countries.
The UK government repeatedly raised concerns about Israeli arms sales to Argentina but was batted away through diversion and deceit.

186 Medical Staff In Gaza Taken Prisoner By Israel, 24 Are ‘Missing’.
At least 160 healthcare workers from Gaza, including more than 20 doctors, are believed to still be inside Israeli detention facilities as the World Health Organisation expressed deep concern about their wellbeing and safety.
Healthcare Workers Watch (HWW), a Palestinian medical NGO, said it had confirmed that 162 medical staff remained in Israeli detention, including some of Gaza’s most senior physicians, and a further 24 were missing after being taken from hospitals during the conflict.

A British firm is supplying engines for Israel’s newest generation of killer drones.
The drone’s versatility extends to “offensive operations”, meaning it can “effectively deploy weapons systems, adding a new dimension to tactical air support in combat scenarios”.
The engines are supplied by RCV Engines, a British engineering company based in Dorset.
The revelation offers further evidence that UK-made drone components are being exported to Israel, where they might be used to commit war crimes in Gaza.
Over recent months, Israeli remote-controlled quad-copters, which are small unmanned vehicles with four rotors, have been filmed dropping bombs and firing on Palestinians in Gaza.

Palestinian Detainees Claim They Were Tortured In Israeli Prisons.
Palestinian detainees released back to Gaza have told the BBC they were subjected to mistreatment and torture at the hands of Israeli military and prison staff.
They each describe being stripped, blindfolded, cuffed and beaten.
Some also say they were given electric shocks, menaced by dogs, and denied access to medical care.
Some say they witnessed the deaths of other detainees.
One says he witnessed sexual abuse.
Another says he had his head dunked in chemicals and his back set on fire.
The BBC sent a lengthy right of reply letter to the IDF which laid out in detail the men’s allegations and their identities.
In its statement, the IDF did not respond to any of the specific allegations, but said it “completely rejects accusations of systematic abuse of detainees”.

Labour Friends Of Palestine Was Allowed To Wither And Die Under Lisa Nandy’s Stewardship.
Labour Friends of Palestine and the Middle East (LFPME) was established amid Operation Cast Lead, the bombardment of Gaza in 2008-09 when Israel killed over 300 Palestinian children.
The organisation received considerable support from Labour’s backbenches, with 98 MPs having signed up as supporters by April 2009 and the organisation becoming a strong lobbying force in Westminster over subsequent years.

Among the backbenchers who signed the Early Day Motion welcoming the launch of LFPME in 2009 was Jeremy Corbyn.
Corbyn would go on to be elected as Labour party leader in 2015, causing one of the biggest upsets in British political history and returning Palestine as a focal issue in Westminster.
The Labour right began manoeuvring for his removal almost immediately.

In June 2016, shadow foreign secretary Hilary Benn was sacked by Corbyn following reports he was planning an internal coup, and a mass resignation of shadow ministers followed.
Lisa Nandy put her weight behind the attempted coup, resigning as shadow energy secretary on June 27, 2016 before going on to co-chair Owen Smith’s unsuccessful campaign to oust Corbyn later the same year.

Lisa Nandy was elected chair of LFPME in December 2018, despite her role in attempting to remove the most pro-Palestine leader in the recent history of the Labour party.
While vice-chair of LFPME, and shortly after backing the 2016 attempted coup against Corbyn, Lisa Nandy received a £5,000 donation from Sir Trevor Chinn, a pro-Israel lobbyist and funder of Labour Friends of Israel, LFPME’s opposite number in Westminster.
If Lisa Nandy was to do the job that she was appointed to do and advocate for the Palestinian cause inside parliament, then she wouldn’t be receiving donations from someone like Trevor Chinn or the pro-Israel lobby.
Nandy did absolutely nothing for LFPME and let the organisation wither and die.

Another organisation, launched in 2016, inhabited by Nandy was ‘Labour Together’, a “think tank” whose aims were to “defeat Corbynism” and “win Labour back from the left”.
One of Labour Together’s first acts was to attempt to delegitimise independent media organisations which supported Corbyn, namely The Canary, by accusing them of “fake news” and promoting anti-semitism.
The anti-Semitism scandal which surrounded the Labour party during Corbyn’s tenure was deeply damaging to the pro-Palestine movement, and Labour Together, with Nandy as director, played its part in stoking the fire.

Nandy stepped down as chair of LFPME in July 2020, shortly after coming third in Labour’s leadership election behind Keir Starmer and Rebecca Long-Bailey.
During that campaign, Nandy dispensed with much of the pro-Palestine sentiment that had ostensibly animated her parliamentary career, such that she even received backing from the pro-Israel group Jewish Labour Movement.

At a hustings event supported by Labour Friends of Israel, Nandy proudly declared herself a “Zionist” – the ideological movement that founded the state of Israel in 1948 as Palestinians were violently driven from their land to create a majority Jewish state.
In 2023, Nandy abstained on the vote in parliament calling for a ceasefire in Gaza.
Nandy, the current culture secretary, is no longer listed as a supporter of LFPME.

A Senior Figure At The BBC Is Accused Of Holding An Overt Bias In Favour Of Israel.
A senior figure at the BBC’s Middle East desk, Raffi Berg, has been exposed as a former employee of a CIA propaganda division and a collaborator with Israel’s intelligence agency Mossad.
Berg, who currently heads the BBC’s Middle East coverage, is facing growing internal criticism.
At least thirteen BBC journalists have reportedly accused him of holding an overt bias in favour of Israel.
Staff allege that Berg’s influence is so extensive that his role essentially revolves around “watering down” any reporting that might be overly critical of Israel.
One source described him as wielding a “wild” degree of power within the newsroom.
The controversy surrounding Berg comes amid broader criticism of Western media outlets for whitewashing or downplaying Israeli war crimes in Gaza.
The BBC is not alone in facing scrutiny; other networks have been accused of propagating misleading narratives supplied by Israeli officials.

Israeli Army Is A terrorist Organisation Run By War Criminals, Says Ex-Israeli Pilot.
A former Israeli Air Force pilot, Yonatan Shapira, has described the Israeli government and army as “terrorist organisations” run by “war criminals.”
Captain Shapira who had resigned from the Israeli army in 2003 at the height of the Palestinian Second Intifada explained in an exclusive interview with Anadolu News Agency why he realised after joining the army that he was “part of a terrorist organisation”.
Shapira said: “As a child in Israel, you are being brought up in very strong Zionist militaristic education. You don’t know almost anything about Palestine, you don’t know about the 1948 Nakba, you don’t know about ongoing oppression.”
Ever since leaving the Israeli army, Shapira has launched a campaign that encouraged other military members to disobey orders to attack Palestinians.

Ukrainians are increasingly reluctant to fight for Zelensky’s corrupt clique and Western geopolitical interests.
The data on the number of deserters have already been repeatedly voiced by us in this chamber.
According to the Ukrainian Ground Forces Command, more than half a million people are declared wanted for evading mobilisation.
Zelensky’s office is, of course, trying to conceal the scope of these developments, but nevertheless, from time to time, new facts are leaking to the media allowing us to draw conclusions about what is really going on.
For example, at the beginning of the year journalists reported that Ukraine opened an investigation on charges of “desertion” against the 155th separate mechanized brigade “Anne of Kiev”, equipped and trained in France.
1,700 servicemen of this brigade (out of 2,300) went AWOL soon after they were sent to the front.
And this is an elite unit.
So what can we say about men who are caught on the streets only to be thrown to the bloodbath as cannon fodder with little or no training.
It is no surprise that people use the earliest opportunity to surrender, and the main danger for them is the “barrier troops” of Ukrainian nationalists who are shooting in the back those who want to retreat.

Why Is The UK Funding Bulgaria’s Border Force?
The UK Foreign Office, and by extension the British taxpayer, is funding a border force at the edge of Europe who are routinely committing human rights abuses.
In 2016, the UK government donated 40 Land Rovers to Bulgaria, and in February 2024, then foreign secretary David Cameron visited Bulgaria, where he pledged a further £1.2million of support.
Yet the chances of a shift in government policy seem slim, considering that last month (March 2025) Britain reportedly donated seven more Land Rovers, two drones and 60 thermal imaging cameras to Bulgaria’s border police.

Apartheid And Persecution Of The People Of Palestine.
About 6.8 million Jewish Israelis and 6.8 million Palestinians live today between the Mediterranean Sea and Jordan River, an area encompassing Israel and the Occupied Palestinian Territory (OPT), the latter made up of the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, and the Gaza Strip.
Throughout most of this area, Israel is the sole governing power.
In the remainder, it exercises primary authority alongside limited Palestinian self-rule.
Across these areas and in most aspects of life, Israeli authorities methodically privilege Jewish Israelis and discriminate against Palestinians.
Laws, policies, and statements by leading Israeli officials make plain that the objective of maintaining Jewish Israeli control over demographics, political power, and land has long guided government policy.
In pursuit of this goal, authorities have dispossessed, confined, forcibly separated, and subjugated Palestinians by virtue of their identity to varying degrees of intensity.
In certain areas these deprivations are so severe that they amount to the crimes against humanity of apartheid and persecution.
