A Young Girl Was Murdered.
A national newspaper was offering a £20,000 reward for information leading to an arrest.
The police had welcomed this as a helpful aid to their work.
If the police really think that a reward does help, then that would mean that there are people out there who could nail the bastards, but wouldn’t unless there was money in it for them.
Can this possibly be true?

Our governments are full of career politicians, interested only in themselves, not caring a damn about the welfare of the people.
Deceit, propaganda and fear-mongering for personal gain is a shameful recurring crime among our politicians and the media who support them.

Politics Is A Filthy Subject.
Politics is a filthy subject, and it’s impossible to address it without recourse to ‘barn-yard’ metaphors.
Government is big, inefficient and unwieldy.
It’s funded by the hard-working taxpayer, i.e. all of us, and we’re getting a raw deal.
What governments are good at doing, on either side of the Atlantic, is spending our money.
( P J O’Rourke, Author )

Governments will hide the truth if the truth would destroy their Government.
Governments will spread lies and propaganda if the lies and propaganda assists their Government.

Jimmy Reid ( 1932 – 2010 ).
Looking up at high rise council flats he said: “Behind every window is someone who might have been a horse-jumping champion or a winning yachtsman but they will never know because they will never step on a yacht, or get on a horse”.

“Always remember you can achieve what you want in this life, but in doing so, never forget where you came from”.

The biggest problem facing the working-class was that the best and brightest would be encouraged to “do well for themselves”, leaving the unlucky ones behind to prop up the system.

He appealed to the young to shun individual greed and remember they are part of a common humanity.
“A rat race is for rats. We’re not rats. We’re human beings”.

“Before you know where you are, you’re a fully paid-up member of the rat pack. The price is too high. It entails the loss of your dignity and human spirit”.

“From the very depth of my being, I challenge the right of any man or any group of men to tell a fellow human being he or she is expendable”.

He spoke of the despair ordinary people feel when blind economic forces beyond their control leave them powerless and marginalised.

How apt his words appear four decades later, when the weak and powerless are blamed for economic ills and left to wither, while those at the top are exonerated and grow richer.
The highly-paid bankers who gave us a crippling national debt and low-ranking public servants who will pay with their jobs.

The Police Are No Use To Anyone.
The police are no use to anyone once a crime has been committed.
They never were and they never will be, except if they can do first aid.
They’ve forgotten their job is to prevent crime rather than hold useless press conferences afterwards and surround the ‘crime scene’ with silly yellow tape copied from American TV shows.
An old-fashioned village constable, on the spot, might have done something to halt, or have realised something bad was going to happen before it did.

It’s certain that the modern fire-brigade approach to policing with its sirens, helicopters, computers and flash cars is no use.
We need cops on the streets, in the parks, in the supermarkets, talking to, and getting to know the local community.
( Peter Hitchens )

Don’t Forget Gary Webb.
In 1996, Gary Webb exposed how the CIA hired drug traffickers to sell massive amounts of cocaine in the United States in order to raise untraceable funds to finance a terrorist organisation who were trying to overthrow the Nicaraguan Government.
These massive shipments of cocaine ultimately sparked the crack epidemic that decimated inner cities during the 1990s.
As a result, mainstream media vilified Gary Webb and destroyed his career which also destroyed his marriage.
But he refused to back down.
In 2004 Gary Webb was found dead with two bullet wounds to his head.
His death was ruled a suicide.
This man literally lost everything to give us a glimpse of the truth.

Why Worry?
There are only two things to worry about.

Either you are well or you are sick.
If you are well, then there is nothing to worry about.
But if you are sick, there are only two things to worry about.
Whether you will get well, or whether you will die.
If you get well, there is nothing to worry about.
But if you die, there are only two things to worry about.
Whether you go to Heaven or Hell.
If you go to Heaven, there is nothing to worry about.
And if you go to Hell, you’ll be so busy shaking hands with old friends, you won’t have time to worry.
So why worry?

England is the most class-ridden country in the world.
It is a land of snobbery and privilege, ruled by the old and the stupid.

Are Those In Power Messing With The Weather?
Several weather modification programs are being done by U.S. Government and private corporations across the United States.
All of these impact agriculture because they change the micro-climates needed for plant survival.
International corporations are modifying our weather all the time, and in ways that cover thousands and thousands of square miles.
Our weather is being chemically altered by compounds shot into the air and released by aircraft.
These programs impact agriculture, decreasing pollination and photosynthesis.
The climate change that is produced by these persistent trails trap the warmth and increase humidity.
This allows for pests, diseases, moulds, mildews, funguses, and viruses to proliferate.
Aluminium, barium, and strontium are just a few of the chemicals being used to modify and experiment with our weather.
Aluminium is getting into the root systems of our plants and it looks like they are dying of drought, but they’re not.
What’s happening is that the root systems can no longer absorb the water and the nutrients needed to survive.

( Rosalind Peterson, USDA FSA Certified Agriculturist, 2007 )

After telling our children to aim for higher education, we now tell those without connections that they face a jobless, houseless, pensionless future.
That their hopes and expectations are expendable.
We have betrayed our youngsters shockingly.

Our leaders and politicians have an insatiable lust for personal wealth and swoon at the bankers and businessmen who run this world for their own gain.

If You Can Picture Becoming Like This.
If you can think of yourself as being all that you know you should be – constant, gentle, loving and kind to every man, woman and child, and to every circumstance in life.
Kind and tolerant in your attitude towards all conditions on Earth.
If you can conceive yourself as being completely calm in all conditions and circumstances, quiet and yet strong.
Strong to aid your weaker brethren, strong to speak the right word, to take the right action, and so become a tower of strength and light.
If you can see yourself facing injustice and unkindness, knowing that all things work out in time for good, and that justice is always eventually triumphant.
If you can picture becoming like this, you will know something of real wisdom.

Refusing to vote for someone to speak for you is not the same as refusing to speak.

Once I catch you in one lie.
It makes me question everything you said.

Politicians who claim they love “free speech” are often unhappy when people use it to disagree with them.
( Rose Winfold )

Some people are completely honest.
They promise you nothing and give you nothing.

If Everyone Spoke The Truth.
We live in a world of drink, drugs and infidelity.
A world of vanity, greed and selfishness.
A world of lies, excuses and dishonesty.
Imagine how much better it would be if we all spoke the truth.
No one would dodge pub rounds for fear of hearing “Tight-arse strikes again”.
Football commentators would call a 0–0 draw a “load of rubbish”.
Modern art judges would say “a bloody kid could do that”.
Politicians would hear “lying bastards”, and they would be unable not to reply, “well you’re the stupid fools who pay us”.
We should put a truth serum in the drinking water to make this happen..
Imagine the fun, and the fighting, and eventually a completely different way of life.

Gordon Brown is a great man, who saved this country from the world’s worst economic crisis, brought down by a bunch of political and intellectual pygmies.
( Piers Morgan, May 11, 2010 )

Many a man’s good fortune is due to the will power of a deceased relative.

About the time you think you can make both ends meet, somebody moves the ends.
( Herbert Hoover )

One Of The Great Curses Of Our Age.
One of the great curses of our age is that we are ruled by leaders who have never heard a shot fired in anger.
Would Iraq have been invaded if George W Bush had actually fought in Vietnam, instead of sitting it out in Houston and Dallas Country clubs?
Could Tony Blair have dispatched our armed forces to fight in Iraq and Afghanistan if he had ever seen the ravages of war?
Our leaders haven’t got a clue.

I feel totally out of sympathy with the Labour Party on civil liberties, on the war, on Europe, and perhaps the only answer is to die, which is an extreme thing to say, but I don’t quite know how I’m going to cope.
( Tony Benn, 31.12.2006 )

Poverty means watching the world go buy.

Don’t let David Cameron or anyone else tell you what you’ve got to do.
( Nick Clegg, May 3, 2010 )

A conference is a gathering of important people who singly can do nothing, but together can decide that nothing can be done.

We Should Be Ashamed Of Ourselves.
Sick, evil paedophiles abuse (and murder) babies and children.
If caught, they spend a few years in prison and then let out to do the same again.
Children from the age of 5 are diagnosed with ‘ADHD’ – an illness invented in the 1980s by American drug companies – and then prescribed class B psychotic drugs, with horrific side effects, to cure their ‘hyperactivity’ and ‘lack of attention’.
Promiscuous, irresponsible, selfish women murder their healthy unborn babies – depriving an innocent soul of a whole lifetime.
Animals don’t treat their babies, children and unborn like we do.
God must be ashamed of us.
We should be ashamed of ourselves.

It’s too bad that all the people who know how to run the country are busy working in mini-cab offices.

The Bible is very easy to understand.
But we Christians are a bunch of scheming swindlers.
We pretend to be unable to understand it because we know very well that the minute we understand, we are obliged to act accordingly.

( Soren Kierkegaard )

Bureaucrats are like books in a library.
The higher they are, the less useful they are.

Depopulation should be the highest priority of foreign policy towards the third world, because the US economy will require large and increasing amounts of minerals from abroad, especially from less developed countries.
( Henry Kissinger )

Public relations is the fine art of making sure that something is no sooner done than said.

A committee is a group of the unfit appointed by the unwilling to do the unnecessary.

A Monstrous Woman.
Marie Stopes sent love poems to Adolf Hitler in August 1939, advocated compulsory sterilisation for the ‘unfit’, and cut her own son out of her will because he married a girl who wore glasses.
What sort of organisation would name itself after such a monstrous woman?
( Peter Hitchens, 23 May 2010 )

A total world population of 250-300 million people, a 95% decline from present levels, would be ideal.
( Ted Turner )

A diplomat is a man who thinks twice before he says nothing.

Diplomacy is the art of letting somebody else have your way.

If I were reincarnated I would wish to be returned to earth as a killer virus to lower human population levels.
( Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh )

To get something done a committee should consist of no more than three men, two of whom are absent.

War is a racket.
It always has been.
It is possibly the oldest, easily the most profitable, surely the most vicious.
It is the only one international in scope.
It is the only one in which the profits are reckoned in dollars and the losses in lives.
( Major General Smedley Darlington Butler, 1881 – 1940 )

Our whole life is taken up with anxiety for personal security, with preparations for living, so that we really never live at all.

David Cameron was one of the greediest expense claimers of all, and who made us pay the mortgage interest on a large country house he didn’t really need.
( Peter Hitchens, Mail On Sunday, May 2, 2010 )

Unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance.
But from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath.

I have nightmares every morning.
I am overwhelmed by the feeling that the world is going to collapse through shortage of oil.

I visualise circumstances where people at the top of tower blocks would find that the lift couldn’t be run because there was no energy, doctors couldn’t climb 24 flights of steps to look after them if they were ill, and the whole of society comes to an end.
( Tony Benn, 20.11.2008 )
