Her Gentle Heart That Understands.
Mothers play the leading roles
In giving birth to little souls.
For though small souls are heaven-sent,
We realise they’re only lent.
It takes a Mother’s loving hands
And her gentle heart that understands,
To mould and shape this little life
And shelter it through storm and strife.

She Lives On Every Day.
A light from our household may be gone,
But in her sons, her spirit carries on.
Four boys she raised with gentle grace and might,
She filled their world with everlasting light.
Time has passed since she went on her way,
But in our hearts, she lives on every day.
Her love, a constant whisper soft and clear,
We feel her presence, knowing she is near.

A Good Mother.
A good mother tries to teach her children to realise that love is the best emotion that anyone can have.

She tries to provide her children with insight into the important things in life in order to make their life as happy and fulfilling as possible.
She tries to teach her children to be kind and generous towards other people.
To be honest and forthright at all times.
To be fair, treating men and women equally.
To respect and learn from older people.
To know themselves very well.
To understand their strong and weak points.
To accept criticism and learn from their mistakes.
To have many interests to pursue.
To have many goals to follow.
To work hard to reach these goals.
A good mother tries to teach her children to have a strong set of beliefs.
To listen to their intelligence.
To laugh and enjoy life.
To appreciate the beauty of nature.
To express their feelings openly and honestly at all times.
To value the family unit as the basis of all stability.
A good mother gives her children a feeling of trust and stability.

She is their earth.
She is the one thing they can count on for the things that matter most of all.
She is their food and their bed and the extra blanket when it grows cold in the night.
She is their warmth and their health and their shelter.
She is the one they want to be near when they cry.
She is the only person in the whole world or in a whole lifetime who can be these things to her children.
There is no substitute for her.
A good mother is an all-enveloping, protective, nourishing power.
To be loved by her means to be alive,
To be rooted, to be at home.
The loveliest masterpiece of the heart of God is the heart of a good mother.

A Cherished Memory.
She held our hands when we were very small,
And guided us, ensuring we’d not fall.
Four lively boys, a handful at their best,
She nurtured us and put her love to test.
With sacrifice and deep devotion true,
She taught us boys the right in all we do.
Her kindness echoes, strong in all us boys,
A cherished memory of life’s many joys.

A Mum Is Someone Special.
A mum is someone special
Who you know will always care.
She’s kind and understanding
And your worries she will share.
She always has a lovely smile,
On her you can depend.
For she’s more than just a mum,
She’s a very special friend.

You Make My Life So Much Better.
You tell me that you love me
When I don’t love myself.
You’re the one who holds my hand
When I need the most help.
You smile when you’re sad
To make me smile too.
You make my life so much better
By everything you do.

A Mother Who Always Cares.
In every hug, in every kiss,
It’s your love, Mum, we never miss.
Your gentle care, your tender way,
You’re our sunshine every day.
A mother who always cares,
A mother who’s always there.
Your special, loving heart
That gave our life its start.

Mum, We Forget To Mention.
Mum, sometimes we got so busy,

That the time just slipped away,
And we forget to mention,
All the things we wanted to say.

The Wonderful Person She Is.
She’s understanding, love, and security.
She’s someone you can count on to be there always,
Encouraging dreams, giving support, and brightening life with her thoughtfulness, her humour, and her caring.
She’s dear to her family for all the wonderful things she does, and loved by her family for the wonderful person she is.

We Feel Her Light Shine In All We Do.
Though she is gone, her love is endless, true,
It lifts us up and sees us four boys through.
The laughter, warmth, and love she used to share,
A mother’s touch, a comfort and a care.
The void she left is a perpetual ache,
A bond unbroken, for her memory’s sake.
Not a day will pass, as in the sky so blue,
We feel her light shine in all we do.

So Many Times I’ve Needed You.
Partings come and hearts are broken,
Loved ones go with words unspoken.
I miss you more than anyone knows,
As time goes by the emptiness grows.
The tears I shed I wiped away,
But the ache in my heart is here to stay.
It doesn’t take a special day
To bring you to my mind.
A day without a thought of you
Is very hard to find.
So many things have happened,
I’ve wanted you to share,
So many times I’ve needed you
And wished that you were there.
We’ll meet again in Heaven,
I know that’s where you will be,
And then we’ll be together
For all eternity.
