Life Is Just A Little While.
Dear God above bless this car I drive

And help me keep someone alive.
Be my mortal sight this day
On streets where little children play.
Keep my passengers safe and sound
Through the hours big and round.
Make my judgement sound as steel
And be my hands upon the wheel.
Bless the traveller going past
And teach him not to go so fast.
Give me strength for every trip, so I may care,
And make me mindful every mile
That life is just a little while.
( Bob Hutchison )

Just Do the Small Things.
You don’t need grand, heroic plans,
Just notice when someone’s low.
Offer a smile, lend your hands,
Let patience take things slow.
The world won’t fix in a single day,
But kindness helps it on its way.

When I Am Sad.
When I am sad and lonely

And everything goes wrong,
I always hear you whisper
“Cheer up and carry on.”
And when I see your picture
You seem to smile and say,
“Don’t cry, I am only sleeping,
We’ll meet again one day.”

How to Live Well Enough.
Try not to rush, or always win,
It’s fine to take your time.
Listen first before you chip in,
And keep your tone kind.
If you leave folk feeling seen,
You’ve done better than you’ve been.

The Best To You And Yours.
May love and laughter light your days

And warm your heart and home.
May good and faithful friends be yours
Wherever you may roam.
May peace and plenty bless your world
With joy that long endures.
May all life’s passing seasons
Bring the best to you and yours.

Mostly Getting It Right.
You’ll trip up, sure, we all do that,
Say the wrong thing, miss a cue.
Just smile, apologise, have a chat,
And try to see it through.
Life’s mostly learning as we go,
Be kind, be real, and let it show.

May The Lord Be With You.
May the Lord be with you, to protect you,
May he guide you and give you strength.
May he watch over you and keep you in his care.
And bless you with his peace.

Finding Our Purpose.
We walk with hope through sunlit days.

Sometimes we stumble, sometimes we fall,
Yet rise again to answer nature’s call.
Each step a lesson, a story to embrace,
Finding our purpose, and time, and place

In A Silence Undisturbed.
In a silence undisturbed
There is a healing power.
Many seek and find its blessing
In a quiet hour.

Another Day May Be Too Late.
If you can show by word or deed
That you do truly care.
Please do it now, for if you wait,
Another day may be too late.

A New Beginning.
A fragile bloom that opens wide,
With sun and rain, it can’t be denied.
Its petals fade, but then a seed,
Is planted for the future’s need.
A cycle of ending, a new beginning,
Life’s beauty is in the winning.

My Dreams No Longer Sparkle.
If I had one more tear in my eye,
A tear for me to mourn, to cry.
If I had one more dream within my sleep,
A flawless memory untouched by grief.
And now I face that death has stole your life,
Your existence, your very whole.
Will my life ever be the same?
Will my heart ever beat without pain?
And yet my tears they are no more,
They lie in rivers upon the floor.
My dreams no longer sparkle or shine,
But the memories remain,
They will always be mine.

Life Is A Treasure.
We build our castles, strong and tall,
From hopeful thoughts, we give our all.
To find true joy, in what we see,
A smile, a friend, a family.
Life is a treasure, in moments we keep,
A promise to remember, and a soul to sleep.

Dreams.
Hold fast to dreams.
For if dreams die,
Life is a broken-winged bird that cannot fly.

So Long As You Can Truly Find.
Seek the country or the sea,
It matters not where you may be.
So long as you can truly find,
Rest for the body, and for the mind.
