“I spoke with a super-yacht manufacturer, and the orders from Ukrainian officials and their families are already booked for the next four years. Hundreds of millions of dollars on super-yachts, all coming from one country. Meanwhile, Western taxpayers in Canada, the UK, Europe, America, and Australia are footing the bill for all of it,” he said.
“They take people off the streets to send them to the front lines, mobilise them into the army, and people are committing suicide to avoid going to war. While the officials buy super-yachts,” Kuhn added.

A Response To Donald Trump’s Rant About “NATO Not Being There For America”.

Mate. You run a country with 600,000 homeless people sleeping on the street tonight.
A country where 40% of adults can’t cover a $400 emergency without borrowing money.
A country where insulin costs more than a car payment and people are rationing it to survive.
A country where medical debt is the number one cause of bankruptcy.
A country where women are dying in hospital car parks because doctors are too scared of abortion laws to treat a miscarriage.

You lock up more of your own citizens than any nation on earth.
More than China. More than Russia. More than North Korea.
The land of the free has 2 million people in cages, and a quarter of them haven’t even been convicted of anything.
They’re just too poor to make bail.
Your life expectancy is going backwards.
You’re the only developed nation where that’s happening.

Your infant mortality rate is worse than Cuba’s.
Your kids do active shooter drills between maths and English while you sell the gunmaker’s stock to your mates.
Your minimum wage hasn’t moved in 15 years.
You’ve got teachers working two jobs and veterans sleeping under bridges and you just spent a trillion dollars flattening a country that didn’t attack you.

And you’ve got a convicted felon, adjudicating raping, paedophile protecting, porn star shagging insurrectionist running the biggest dumpster fire war campaign since the Taliban thanked you very much for losing again.
And you’re calling Greenland poorly run?
Greenland has universal healthcare.  Free education.
One of the lowest incarceration rates in the world.
Nobody goes bankrupt there because they got sick.
Nobody dies in a waiting room because their insurance said no.

When exactly was that, champ?  September 11?
Because NATO invoked Article 5 for the first and only time in history for you.
Soldiers from dozens of countries deployed, fought, bled, and died in Afghanistan for you.
Australia wasn’t even in NATO and we still showed up. For 20 years.
And you pulled out at 2am without telling anyone and left them to deal with the mess.
So maybe before you start calling other countries poorly run, have a look at your own backyard, you spray-tanned aluminium siding salesman.
The only thing poorly run in this picture is your fucking mouth.

Giants in the Bible and Ancient Scriptures: Myth, Mystery, or Reality?

Stories of giants have fascinated people for thousands of years.
From the towering figure of Goliath in the Bible to strange beings described in other ancient texts, the idea of humans much larger than us raises an obvious question: were giants ever real?
The most well-known giant in the Bible is Goliath, described in First Book of Samuel as a Philistine warrior defeated by the young David.
Goliath’s height is given as “six cubits and a span,” which is often interpreted as around 9 feet (about 2.7 metres), though some ancient manuscripts suggest a shorter height closer to 6½ feet.

But Goliath is not the only giant mentioned.
In Book of Genesis, there is a brief and mysterious reference to the Nephilim:
“The Nephilim were on the earth in those days.”
These figures are sometimes described as the offspring of the “sons of God” and the “daughters of men.”
Later, in Book of Numbers, the Nephilim are again mentioned, with spies reporting that they felt “like grasshoppers” beside them.

Other groups, such as the Anakim and Rephaim, are also described as unusually large people living in the land of Canaan.
The idea of giants isn’t unique to the Bible.
In the ancient Jewish text Book of Enoch, the Nephilim are described in much greater detail.
They are portrayed as enormous beings who consumed vast resources and caused chaos on Earth before being destroyed.

Greek mythology speaks of the Giants (Gigantes), powerful beings who fought the gods.
Norse mythology tells of the Jötnar, a race of giants often in conflict with the gods.
These stories appear across cultures, suggesting that the idea of giants is a widespread human theme.

There is no reliable scientific or archaeological evidence that a race of giant humans, far larger than normal, ever existed.
Occasionally, stories circulate about giant skeletons being discovered, but these claims are almost always misidentified fossils (such as dinosaur bones), exaggerations, or outright hoaxes

That said, very tall individuals have existed.
Conditions such as gigantism can cause people to grow well over 7 or even 8 feet tall.
For example, Robert Wadlow reached 8 feet 11 inches (2.72 metres).
So while extreme height is real, an entire population of giants is not supported by evidence.

What Do Scholars Think?
Many believe giants were used to represent powerful enemies or overwhelming challenges.
Describing opponents as “giants” emphasised fear and difficulty.
Ancient storytelling often used exaggeration.
A very tall warrior could become a “giant” in retelling.
Some scholars think these stories may reflect encounters with unusually tall tribes or individuals, later remembered in dramatic terms.

In texts like the Book of Enoch, the stories take on a more mythological tone, blending spiritual beings, moral lessons, and ancient cosmology.
In biblical terms, the Nephilim are sometimes described as having a supernatural origin, though this interpretation is debated.
From a scholarly perspective, the idea likely developed from oral traditions passed down over generations, encounters with unfamiliar or imposing groups, or the human tendency to mythologise the unknown.
In short, the “origin” of giants is more likely cultural and literary than biological.

The stories of giants in the Bible and other ancient writings are best understood as part of humanity’s long tradition of storytelling.
They reflect fear, wonder, and attempts to explain a world that often felt vast and mysterious.
While there’s no solid evidence that giants once walked the earth as described, the stories themselves still carry meaning, about courage, perspective, and how people make sense of what they don’t fully understand.
And perhaps that’s why they’ve lasted so long.

None of them have been prosecuted, and the Metropolitan Police’s War Crimes Unit has just announced the closure of its scoping exercise into ten British nationals accused of war crimes and crimes against humanity while fighting in Gaza.
Like you, I’ve spent the past two and a half years watching atrocity after atrocity in Gaza.
To think that the people responsible for some of these crimes could be living amongst us in Britain is horrifying.

Blair’s rise to power was bankrolled by Michael Levy, also known as “Lord Cashpoint”.
Levy raised over £100million for the Labour Party.
But Blair first met Levy at a dinner party hosted by Israeli diplomat Gideon Meir.
Meir was deputy chief at the Israeli embassy in London.

Blair and Levy had a mutual friend in Eldred Tabachnik, former head of the Board of Deputies.
Michael’s Levy’s son, Daniel, is a former Israeli soldier who later served as an assistant to Israeli PM Ehud Olmert.
Olmert called Blair “A true friend of the State of Israel”.

Levy also convinced other pro-Israeli millionaires to back Labour:
Emmanuel Kaye, a key backer of Labour Friends of Israel.
Westfield chairman Frank Lowy, who served in the terrorist organisation Haganah.
And Trevor Chinn, a director and funder of McSweeney’s Labour Together.

In 2024, after being nominated by Labour Friends of Israel, Chinn received the Israeli Presidential Medal of Honour.
Two months later, Lowy won the same award, with Israeli President Isaac Herzog thanking him for “forming magnificent connections for Israel around the world.”

One of Tony Blair’s first acts upon entering parliament in 1983 was to join Labour Friends of Israel.
Lobbyist Jonathan Mendelsohn explained: “Zionism is pervasive in New Labour. It is automatic that Blair will come to LFI meetings.”
Mendelsohn has also funded Wes Streeting.

Blair was previously appointed as a “Middle East envoy”.
At the same time, he was a patron of the Jewish National Fund, the largest builder of illegal Israeli settlements.
