Decomposing Bodies Of Babies Were Left Behind During Evacuations.

A video taken in an abandoned Gaza hospital appears to show the decomposing bodies of babies who were left behind during evacuations.
The paediatric intensive care unit at al Nasr children’s hospital was evacuated around November 10, 2023 as the Israeli military continued its ground invasion into northern Gaza and called for people to leave the area.

During the week-long ceasefire, Mohammed Baalousha, a journalist with the Emirati TV channel Al Mashhad, entered the building where he found the bodies of several infants who had to be left in their beds while others escaped.
The advanced stages of decomposition of the infants are consistent with the time-frame between them being abandoned and the date the video was shot, two independent forensic pathologists told NBC.

Dr Mustafa al Kahlot, director of the hospital, said staff concluded they could not safely evacuate five babies, several of whom were premature and “on oxygen machines” when Israeli tanks encircled the facility.

The Israeli army and settlers have killed 242 Palestinians in the West Bank, including Occupied East Jerusalem, since October 7.

The Israeli army has also arrested, in the same period after October 7, more than 3,000 Palestinians from the West Bank, in addition to the already 5,200 Palestinians held in Israeli jails before October 7.

Palestinian Boy Physically And Sexually Assaulted While In Israeli Custody.

Defence for Children International Palestine’s (DCIP) offices were raided after they reported the sexual assault of a 15-year-old by an interrogator while in Israeli custody.
In February 2021, the DCIP published a report documenting the physical and sexual assault against a 15-year-old Palestinian boy by an Israeli interrogator at Al-Mascobiyya interrogation and detention facility in January that year.

The DCIP reported that the detainee had been raped with an object by his interrogator and that he was made to stand against a wall where his interrogator inflicted severe pain on his genitals.
According to Ayed Abu Eqtaish, accountability programme director at DCIP, the NGO reported the assault to U.S. officials following hundreds of unresolved complaints filed with the Israeli authorities.

According to Eqtaish, the DCIP stopped filing complaints with the Israeli authorities as they would not allow a child giving witness statements to be accompanied by a lawyer.
Israeli authorities banned a Palestinian NGO after it reported the rape of the child to the U.S. State Department.

Following the complaint, DCIP offices were raided by Israeli forces and “sealed off” along with the offices of seven other Palestinian NGOs.
In October 2021, the DCIP was designated a terrorist organisation by Israeli authorities along with five other Palestinian NGOs.

A 12-Year-Old Israeli Child Was Killed By Israeli Forces.

An Israeli child completely incinerated at Kibbutz Be’eri was killed by two tank shells shot by Israeli forces at the end of an hours-long gun battle, a survivor of the same carnage told the Israeli state broadcaster Kan.
Yasmin Porat, taken captive with at least a dozen other Israeli civilians on 7 October, told Kan radio that a fellow captive, 12-year-old Liel Hatsroni, survived to the end of the battle and only died when Israeli forces fired two tank shells at the house where they were held hostage by Hamas fighters.

The Harrowing Reality Of Israel’s Systematic Detention Of Palestinian Children.

Between November 24, 2023 to November 30, 2023 saw 105 hostages held by Hamas, both Israelis and foreign nationals, released in exchange for 240 Palestinian women and children.
The deal, which was brokered by Qatar and Egypt and took place across six exchanges, raised questions about why so many children were being held in Israeli prisons.

The reality is that the most common charge against children is throwing stones.
An estimated 10,000 Palestinian children have been held in military detention over the past 20 years, with Save the Children noting that they are “the only children in the world who are systematically prosecuted in military courts.”

The youngest child who was released by Israeli authorities during the ceasefire was Ahmad Salayme, a 14-year-old boy.
Salayme was arrested in May 2023 for throwing stones in a Jewish settlement in occupied East Jerusalem.
Settlements are considered illegal under international law.

BBC Journalists Accuse The Corporation Of Double Standards.

The BBC has been accused by its journalists of failing to tell the story of the Israel-Palestine conflict accurately, investing greater effort in humanising Israeli victims compared with Palestinians, and omitting key historical context in coverage.

In a 2,300-word letter written to Al Jazeera by eight UK-based journalists employed by the corporation, the BBC is also said to be guilty of a “double standard in how civilians are seen”, given that it is “unflinching” in its reporting of alleged Russian war crimes in Ukraine.

The BBC journalists said that across British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) platforms, terms like “massacre” and “atrocity”, have been reserved “only for Hamas, framing the group as the only instigator and perpetrator of violence in the region. This is inaccurate but aligns with the BBC’s overall coverage”.

UK Corporations And Tory MPs Benefit From The Destruction Of Gaza.

British energy giant BP and arms firm BAE Systems are set to profit from Israel amid its ongoing destruction of Gaza.
The Israeli government has announced the award to BP of a lucrative contract to explore for natural gas in the eastern Mediterranean.

Meanwhile, arms firm BAE Systems, which manufactures key parts of the F-35 jets being used to support strikes on Gaza, has seen its share price rise in recent weeks.
A number of British Conservative MPs who rejected the parliamentary motion calling for a ceasefire in Gaza have shares in BP and BAE, which are both strongly linked to the UK government.

The decomposed bodies of infants were found on hospital beds in the ICU ward of evacuated Al-Nasr hospital in Gaza.
Three of the infants were attached to the hospital machines and diapers and milk bottles were found next to the bodies
.A video in which four decomposed bodies could be seen was filmed on November 27, 2023 by journalist Mohamed Baalousha, a Gaza reporter for UAE-based news outlet Al Mashhad.

“As per Israeli forces direction, Al-Nasr hospital was evacuated on November 10, 2023,” several medical staff and health officials working there said.
The medical staff said they had to leave young children behind in the ICU as they had no means to safely move them.
The U.S. says that babies decomposing in incubators is a tragedy. The same word they use when their drone attacks kill civilians and children in say Afghanistan or Yemen.
