Axel Springer, the enormous German broadcaster that owns Politico, requires its employees to sign its mission statement endorsing “the trans-Atlantic alliance and Israel” and has told any staff members that support Palestine to leave their jobs.
Other outlets are slightly less overt but nonetheless have Israel red lines that employees cannot cross.
CNN fired anchor Marc Lamont Hill for calling for a free Palestine.
Katie Halper was fired from The Hill for (accurately) calling Israel an Apartheid state.
The Associated Press dismissed Emily Wilder after it became known that she had been a pro-Palestine activist during her college years.
And The Guardian sacked Nathan J. Robinson after he made a joke mocking U.S. military aid to Israel.
These cases serve as examples to the rest of the journalistic world.
The message is that one cannot criticise the Israeli government’s violent apartheid system or show solidarity for Palestine without risking losing their livelihoods.
Ultimately, then, corporate media play a key role in maintaining the occupation by manipulating public opinion.
If the American people were aware of the history and the reality of Israel/Palestine, the situation would be untenable.
For those wishing to maintain the unequal state of affairs whereby an apartheid government expels or imprisons its indigenous population, the pen is as important as the sword.

Conservative Friends of Israel (CFI), which is closely linked to the Israeli state, paid for James Cleverly and Suella Braverman to go to Israel just three months after they were elected to parliament.
Cleverly said: “Israel is an amazing country, there’s no doubt about that.”
Braverman said “Conservative Friends of Israel is carrying out an invaluable task in educating British politicians.”
Conservative Friends of Israel does not disclose its funders, but has said 80% of Conservative MPs are members.
Cleverly, foreign secretary since September 2022, has backed Israel’s collective punishment of Palestinians, including halting water, electricity and food from going into the Gaza Strip.
Sir Alan Duncan, a UK foreign minister from 2016-19, wrote in his recent memoirs that the Conservative Friends of Israel had succeeded in stopping his own appointment as minister for the Middle East in 2016 because of his support for Palestinian human rights.
He said: “Israel thinks it controls the Foreign Office. And it does.”

It’s All Over The Media, But These Stories Are Blatantly Force.
Terrorists from Hamas breached the Gaza border and invaded Israel in a murderous rampage.
They decapitated some 40 babies at a kibbutz.
Its soldiers are raping Jewish women.
They killed 260 young people at a concert, and there’s more atrocities to come.
The media took their cue from U.S. President Joe Biden who lied that he “saw” “confirmed pictures of terrorists beheading children,” and described the Palestinian resistance as committing rape and other “acts of sheer evil.”
These horror stories have dominated the front pages of papers in the United States and Europe and have been the top of the broadcast news for days.
In loud and outraged voices, in huge boldface type, the establishment media has carried the same atrocity stories, even using the exact same words.
The same reports have been picked up and amplified by social media.
It’s all certainly incredibly gruesome and frightening.
Only these stories are blatantly false or unverified.
This is war propaganda designed to confuse, soften or win over public opinion for imperialist invasion.
It is crafted to justify the Western-backed Israeli government’s massive bombardment of Gaza, allegedly to “destroy Hamas,” at its base, but really to kill, maim and starve the two million Palestinian civilians there.
As Israeli Defence Minister Yoav Gallant said, the goal of the Israeli offensive is the “elimination” of Gaza.

Witness Says Israeli Security Forces Killed A Large Number Of Their Own Civilians.
Yasmin Porat, the Kibbutz Be’eri survivor told Israeli radio that Israeli security forces “undoubtedly” killed a large number of their own civilians following the Hamas assault on October 7, 2023.
In a full-length interview, Yasmin Porat states that the Palestinian fighters, who she says treated her and the other Israeli civilians “humanely”, intended to “kidnap us to Gaza. Not to murder us.”
She adds that “after we were there for two hours with the abductors, the police arrive. A gun battle takes place that our police started.”
British Counter-Terror Police Harass Gaza Doctor’s Family In London.
A UK-based surgeon volunteering in Gaza has slammed the British government for its response to the war as he alleges counter-terror police have “harassed” his family.
Professor Ghassan Abu-Sittah, a plastic and reconstructive surgeon with a practice in West London, slammed both the current government and the opposition for “never speaking the truth to power.”
Mostly based at the Al Shifa hospital, his days have been long and upsetting – punctuated with the sounds of bombing.
But something he did not expect was a phone call from his wife back in London, informing him that counter-terror police had been on their doorstep.
The Metropolitan Police said Dr Abu-Sittah’s home was visited by officers because the force received a report that “a man was planning to travel to a war zone.”

A Tory Peer And Influential Tory Donor Is Being Investigated By HMRC.
The influential Tory donors behind the JCB digger empire could be hit with a bill for more than £500million to settle a long-running investigation by HM Revenue and Customs.
The investigation into Anthony Bamford, a Tory peer, and his brother Mark, the director of a subsidiary of the Conservative party, is understood to span a complex network of offshore tax havens and companies.
The inquiry is understood to be targeting efforts by the Bamford dynasty to aggressively minimise the payment of UK taxes and covers two decades.
The civil investigation, ongoing for the past three years, is understood to be serious, and of a kind only launched when the HMRC has grounds to suspect a significant loss of tax.

UK And U.S. Media Report Lies And Propaganda As The Truth.
After Hamas launched a surprise attack on Israel, IDF forces responded with airstrikes, leveling Gazan buildings.
The violence so far has claimed the lives of more than 2,500 people.
Western media, however, show far more interest and have much greater sympathy with Israeli dead than Palestinian ones and have played their usual role as unofficial spokespersons for the Israeli Defence Forces (IDF).
One case in point is the claim that, during their incursion into southern Israel, Hamas fighters stopped to round up, kill and mutilate 40 Israeli babies, beheading them and leaving their bodies behind.
The extraordinary assertion was originally reported by the Israeli channel i24 News, which based it on anonymous Israeli military sources.
Despite offering no proof whatsoever, this highly inflammatory claim about an enemy made by an active participant in a conflict was picked up and repeated across the world by a host of media (e.g., in the United States by Fox News, CNN, MSN, Business Insider, and The New York Post).
Meanwhile, the front pages of the United Kingdom’s largest newspapers were festooned with the story, the press outraged at the atrocity and inviting their readers to feel the same way.
Extraordinary claims should require extraordinary evidence, and a story like this should have been met with serious skepticism, given who was making the claim.
The first question any reporter should have asked was, “Where is the evidence?”
Given multiple opportunities to stand by it, the IDF continually distanced itself from the claims.
Nevertheless, the story was simply too useful not to publish.
The decapitated baby narrative was so popular that even U.S. President Biden referenced it, claiming to have seen “confirmed” images of Hamas killing children.
This claim, however, was hastily retracted by his handlers at the White House, who noted that Biden was simply referencing the i24 News report.
The story looked even more like a piece of cheap propaganda after it was revealed that the key source for the claim was Israeli soldier David Ben Zion, an extremist settler who had incited race riots against Palestinians earlier this year, describing them as “animals” with no heart who needs to be “wiped out.”
