The only difference between a prison and an animal shelter.
If someone doesn’t bail you out in just a few days, you are executed.
Even though you are innocent.

Could you really look an animal in the eyes and say:
“My appetite for your dead flesh is worth your suffering”..?

You eat meat but are against murder.
You only eat animals that have committed suicide?
Or when they die from disease or old age?

Greed, ignorance, corruption, and morally-deficient people and spineless governments are responsible for the suffering of not only the animals we share this earth with, but also the millions of humans, mostly children, who die every year from hunger, dirty water, curable diseases and unnecessary wars.

I pray someday that everyone will care about all animals.
Not just the cute and cuddly ones.

Saying “Eating animals is yummy” as a justification for killing them is pretty much the same argument as saying rape is okay since it feels good to the rapist.
Civilised people require more than sensory pleasure to justify behaviours.

Wild animals are thinking, feeling beings who feel pain just like cats, dogs and humans.
Just because they aren’t pets doesn’t mean that it’s ok to kill or eat them.
Because fish have a brain, a central nervous system, and pain receptors, they can feel pain just like cats, dogs and humans.
Just because they can’t scream doesn’t mean they aren’t in pain.

Being vegan isn’t extreme.
Supporting an industry that slaughters millions of sentient beings is.

Let us walk softly on the earth with all living beings great and small.
Remembering as we go that this world was created for all, not just some.

Dogs are killed for food and most people protest.
Pigs are killed for food and most people are silent.

Some people are so naive they genuinely have no idea what eating meat involves.
But ignorance can no longer be an excuse.
The horror is out there.

Animals are the real victims on this earth.
Their only crime is that they exist.

The day my heart spoke louder than my stomach, my mind felt more at peace and my life changed forever.

Veganism is not about likes and dislikes, it’s about the rights of all animals not to be used, abused or exploited.

Wildlife habitats all over the world are being destroyed to make way for growing crops to feed ‘farm’ animals who will be brutally killed to feed meat-eating humans.

To be honest, if animals could talk, I would have no need for people.

We enslave them, abuse them, inflict unimaginable pain and suffering, and then brutally murder them.
Just because we like the taste of their cooked flesh.
Really, is that the only justifiable reason?

When you build roads through the homes and habitats of wild animals, there will always be consequences.

If showing children what happens in a slaughterhouse is too horrific for them to watch, then maybe what we are doing to animals is wrong?

In moments of darkness we search our memory for words that give us comfort.
Animals can’t do this.

If you can’t show animals kindness and compassion.
If you don’t want to help them.
Then at least do them no harm.

When non-vegans say they love animals, what they mean is they love cats and dogs.

All animals should have the right not to be used and owned like property.
Animals are here with us, not for us.

It’s not an act of kindness or compassion to treat animals with respect.
It’s an act of justice.

It’s about time people evolved and realised that the abuse and exploitation of animals is never justifiable.

Life and Nature was either created by a beautiful mind with super intelligence, or it was simply a miracle.

It is not your right, based on your traditions or your customs or your religions or your habits, to deny animals their freedom so you can harm them or enslave them or kill them.
That’s not what rights are about.
That’s injustice.

If we could live happy and healthy lives without harming others, why wouldn’t we?

If you are not going to let a dog or a cat live in your home and be a part of your family, please give them to someone who will.

We should all respect and protect the rights of all animals.

Let us walk softly on the earth with all living beings great and small.
Remembering as we go, that one God, kind and wise, created all.

Life is life.
The idea of difference is an arrogant human conception for man’s own advantage.

Humans?
Many are cruel.
Many are liars.
Many are filled with hate, and anger, and resentment.
Many are greedy, and arrogant, and selfish.
Many cause destruction and pain in the world.

For every animal that dies in a shelter there is a human responsible.

Animals should not be treated like slaves.
They have the same right to be free as we do.

I don’t miss my non-vegan days, I regret them.

It’s time to evolve, time to become civilised, time for a world without slaughterhouses.

If videos or images of animals being ‘processed’ for ‘food’ have sensitive, graphic or violent warnings, it’s not food.

Being a vegan is nothing to be proud of.
It’s simply being a good, kind, true human who objects to the unnecessary violent abuse, torture, and brutal slaughter of innocent animals.

The life of all animals is their own.
Their life matters to them, just as our life matters to us.

Dogs and cats are killed for food and fur, and there is a global outcry.
Cows and pigs are killed for food and skin, and there is silence.

Today we went to the slaughter-house to see some baby lambs and I think they wanted to be alive but a man shot a bolt in their head and then cut open their throats.
Seeing all the babies die was a bit disturbing and there was so much blood but dad said he likes lamb chops so the bad stuff is okay.

We claim to be civilised and intelligent, and most of us crave for peace, yet many believe it’s ok to kill baby animals when we celebrate a religious event.

Animals kick and scream and fight for their life.
They don’t give up their precious being just to satisfy our gluttonous desires.

Humans don’t need to eat animals, so why do so many people choose to make them suffer?

Just in case you didn’t realise, animals get cancer, too.
It’s not profitable to inspect every corpse, so tumours can be in the meat on your plate.

No one should be born to be killed.
No one.

May every living being, human or non-human, young or old, weak or strong, living near or far, known or unknown, living or departed or yet unborn, be blessed with peace and come to no harm.
