People Are Always The Problem, Not The Animals

There is no such thing as ‘humane’ meat.
All of the animals wanted to live.
Just like you and I want to live.

Every commercial ‘farm’ animal is tortured and abused from the day they are born, then hideously butchered.

Imagine being born into a world where you are not only kept prisoner but abused.
When you have committed no crime apart from being you.

Save a soul that deserves to be loved.
Save a shelter animal.

You call me vermin, a nuisance, destructive.
Yet you humans have destroyed entire eco systems, hunted animals into extinction, and polluted both the air and the oceans.

When you shout for animals, some people want you to shut up.
They’ll call you a fanatic, an extremist, a bore.
But shout anyway.

All parents need to teach their children to care about all animals.
And not take them to zoos and stare at their misery.

To you it is just a meal.
But to them it’s existence itself.

Let’s never forget that all animals were once wild and free as Nature intended.
And then cruel, ignorant humans targeted the most vulnerable for their own greed and convenience.

If you must kill me today, remember this.
I just wanted to be loved.
And I had lots of love to give.

You may never know the pain and suffering a rescued animal has been through, but you will know their gratitude and their boundless love.

We, the Dairy Industry, would like to thank you for still believing in the myth that animal milk is healthy and gives you strong bones.

Perhaps the animal spirit is so great that one day it will inspire compassion in all human hearts.

Thousands of children in the world die every day from hunger.
A small portion of the grain fed to animals to make ‘meat’ would save them.

Animals do talk.
Just not in our language.

Animals don’t litter our parks and forests and open spaces with litter and garbage.
Humans do.
Humans need to start behaving like animals.

The way a person chooses to treat animals speaks volumes about their character.

We shouldn’t stop consuming animal products just because of the obvious health risks.
We should stop because it’s cruel, evil, immoral, ignorant and unnecessary.

Maybe you’re lactose intolerant because you’re not a baby cow.

You can love women and hit them.
No, that’s not right.
You can love children but abuse them.
No, that’s not right.
You can love animals but eat them.
No, that’s not right either.

A person is the best thing to happen to a shelter animal.
Be that person.

Animals are innocent.
Humans, not so much.

Humans are always the problem, not the animals.

Animals often teach us more about humanity than other humans do.

Wealthy people have designer labels on their clothes.
Happy people have dog hairs on theirs.

We never have long enough to be with the animals we love, or time to prepare ourselves to say goodbye.

Every little soul has value and deserves a life.

My friend’s crying when a dog is killed in a movie and asking me why I don’t care.
I tell them to watch video footage of animals being brutally killed in slaughterhouses and then come back to me about the dog playing dead in a movie and tell me how they feel then.

You are just as guilty as the abuser if you know about animal abuse and do nothing.

I don’t very often give a shit.
But when I do, it’s always for the animals.

Asian countries eating dogs and cats is no more horrific than western countries eating cows, pigs and sheep.

When meat-eaters, who also eat plants, try to justify the killing of innocent animals for food by stupidly claiming plants feel pain!?
Are these people really comparing cutting the grass with cutting the throats of animals?

How meaningless does someone’s life have to be for them to resort to murdering wonderful animals for sport?

If you want to listen to birds singing, don’t buy cages.
Plant more trees and bushes.

It’s not about making vegans socially acceptable.
It’s about making animal abuse socially unacceptable.

Veganism is not a diet, it’s a rejection of violence.
It’s the belief that an animal’s life is worth more than a meal.

If you consume animal products, you are complicit in their suffering and brutal slaughter.
You are supporting the morally-deficient people that inflict the abuse and torture.

Our planet is infested with assholes who kill innocent animals and believe that their miserable life is somehow more precious than the animal they kill.

You dumb humans, killing each other, killing the animals, destroying the planet with your greed and ignorance, you need to sort your sorry selves out before it’s too late.
